Also, how are they going to pay them? I prefer answers mainly from people who live in Los Angeles - the city & the county,or,from other Southern California residents.

All week long,I've heard TV news reports about the payout, but, haven't heard about how & when the amount was arrived at,or how & when the victims will be paid.

Can you add more, agree or disagree with what I wrote?
The search for Social corporate responsibility has roughly the following characteristics:
Collective- Companies would not only have to report its performance to its shareholders, they would have to report it to its employees, media, the government and to the non-governmental environment and at last to the communities working in it. Companies would only have to gain the inclusion of its new social partners in the decision-making processes.
A more participative dialog would not only represent a change of the company behavior but it would also mean more social legitimacy.

A pvt. ltd. company has the following as its employees :
1) Mr. X = Managing Director who is also a shareholder in that co. Sal = Rs.75000/- per month.
2) Mr X's wife = Chief Accountant with a salary of Rs. 35000/- per month.
3) Mr X's son = Cashier with a salary of Rs. 25000/- per month.
4) Mr X's daughter = Secretary with a salary of Rs. 25000/- per month
5) Mr X's son-in-law = Sales Executive with salary of Rs. 40000/- p.m.

In short all employees are close relatives of the Managing Director drawing hefty salaries.

Is such an organisational set-up good in law?
Further are such salary expenses of the co.are allowed as admissible expenses from Income Tax point of view?

Hello, I study business at college and I was just wondering about a possible situation.

What if 2 people, one residing in the US and one in Europe wanted to start a business, but also wanted to have 50/50 legal powers and also 50/50 as figure heads for the company.

Do companies usually have 2 CEO's? Like CEO of North America and CEO of Europe?

Or would one have to be CEO and another COO and then each one have another title as President, North America and President, Europe etc?

Thanks

The Arabs were sitting on a gold mine and did not know it. Then along came foriegn oil exploration and discovered the middle east is full of oil. The foriegn oil companies told the Arabs that they would drill for the oil, pay for the drilling, and not ask any favors in return. Yeah! Right!
Arab's control a lot of oil. American oil companies control a lot of market. Exxon flips a bird to the shieks and laughs all the way to the bank.
The shieks do not control EXXON. EXXON controls them and will screw anyone "without loyality to government or people". If EXXON can sell gas in Europe for more than they can in America they advertise to get Americans to conserve on gas. It is all legal and capitalistic. Your next door nieghbor Sally is 62 years old. She has not driven a car in 8 years. She bought 15,000 shares of EXXON before she retired. She needs a little more income to take church cruises. She doesn't give a damn how much you pay for gas. Sally wants to party.

I am interviewing with a manufacturing company next week. The company manufactures central a/c units. I have about 3 years experience in finance and costing and a Finance Degree from Texas. Personally I do not know that I qualify for the position but they asked to interview me. I am not an accountant, as a metter of fact I only have 12 hours of accounting. I do not want to waste their time, however I feel that if I get my foot inthe door the sky will be the limit b/c I will do everything in my power to exceed all of their expectations. How can I relay that mentality without sounding like I am begging for something that I may not be ready for right at this very moment? How can I sell myself for this position? What can I do in the next week and half to prepare for the questions that they may ask? What kind of questions can I expect? What skills in particular will make me standout and be chosen for this position? Thanks.
