I realize each Search Engine use a search algorithm to search the web. I also heard that some organizations pay extra to ensure that they are listed in the top 10 of a search engines find.

Does this make it possible for political organizations to maliciously pass "mis-information" by ensuring their malicious blogs get first bids on an internet search engine.

There is so much mis-informaton from bogus web sites that you don't know who is telling the truth or not. Something to be aware of.

We have to run a fund raiser to raise money for a charity of our choice. Any ideas? Most people are doing a food based fund raiser such as hot dogs or chinese food. Id rather do somthing different. It must me an event in which we promote as we are Business students majoring in Marketing.

How do I get traffic or even search engine results to show up for a local website that no one even knows about right now? I attempted putting http://www.fitnessthatpays.com/ into google and yahoo and they said wait several weeks... should my meta keywords be the same on every page or should they be unique to each page?

Hey I have to give a speech in my communications class over advertising a specific product. (I know NOTHING about advertisin) The product is a car which drives from the parking lot to pick you up in front of the store/house/office....whe... you are, just by pressing a button. (Similar to the cars that can park themselves). Just wondering if any of you have billboard/magazine/commer... ideas for ways to advertise this product.

I am in a company group photo (approx 15 people) that is used in all facets of marketing for a company - website, brochures, etc. If I have been terminated by the company, and I wish to sever all connections with the company, do I have a legal right to ask my photo be removed from all marketing material?
