Does this make it possible for political organizations to maliciously pass "mis-information" by ensuring their malicious blogs get first bids on an internet search engine.

There is so much mis-informaton from bogus web sites that you don't know who is telling the truth or not. Something to be aware of.

It is possible and it has happened on Google, which ranks by # of clicks and links. There are rules against it, but there are people who don't care much for rules.

In every case, you need to use your common sense, be aware of where the information is coming from, whether it is a reliable source, etc., and do sufficient research to get a quanitty of information that either supports or disproves the information.

YAHOO has the max. no. of hits far more than google
But Yahoo has A PR of 9 and Google 10
and Adobe.com is PR 10
I know links make the PR but it is much known that PR 10 is double the value PR 9
