It is so painful to look at guys whom I would really love to get to know, but, because I have the looks of a troll, I feel as if there is no point to even try. I have tried the make-over deal, and the self-confidence pep-chats, but it seems like my brown blob of a face would only attract criminals who haven't seen the light of day for twenty years (no offence to anysuch persons). Even though I am 17, and I will change over time, I still am confused about the age-old adage: beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So, my question and point is this: does this adage hold true to my generation?
Or should I just swallow cyanide pills to quell my suffering?
