i am interested in the idea of a tounge ring but what do ppl think about otheres who have them? and y do people like them? what is so good about them ? Whats better? Worse?

First time I seen someone with a tongue ring..it was a waitress at a restaurant....she came to take our order...and I don't know if it was new to her or what ..she had trouble pronouncing her words and kept rolling her tongue over in her mouth....it really grossed me out........I have seen several since and I don't know if the first experience done me in or what...but it just reminds me of someone talking with their mouth full of food....sorry , I know that probably isn't what you wanted to hear...but that is my reaction...but it doesn't matter what others think it is up to you to decide it you want it or not......
a word of warning....a guy my husband works with does his own piercing...he is a pretty tough dude...he pierced his tongue last summer...I ask him how bad it hurt he said "it hurt like a "SOB"...and that he almost passed out.......so, from his reaction I say there is some real pain involved.....

For me personally, I would get a tongue ring, there are just certain stereotypes about people that where them...it's not even that really forget the stereotypes, but the fact is you have to eat with your mouth and that's the last place that I would ever want an infection.

I had one, a long time ago. It so sucks when you accidently bite down on it. But then I took it out. It is very cliche, like the lower back tattoo. I mean it started off as a rebellious thing but it's mainstream. Guys like it because apperantly (I was too young to know.) it is good for oral sex. But it did also infect my gums App erantly I now jhave bacteria in them and they have a needle they poke into my gums to flush it out.

they look trashy via fact they are becoming to be too uncomplicated and, very such as decrease-back tattoos, I balk each time I see one. Be careful of damaging your teeth. Tongue rings often chip the enamel of your teeth and cause dental problems.

I think tongue rings are revolting as hell and unattractive. The same for nose, lip and facial piercings. Blecccchhh!!

I wish I was brave enough to do that..Man, I just can't imagine..thats alot of meat to pierce thru..OUCH..
