Hair - June 2007

Hi, I come from Taiwan, and I don't like the hair cut in China town. I had tried it, and it made me really sad......
Somebody recommended me to go to the Clement st. (from 1st ave. to about 15th ave., also called new China town).
So can anybody tell me something about the hair cut there and recommend some?

Lets face it, body hair can be gross. No one wants to see big foot on the beach. Should a man with a hairy body, trim the hair with clippers, shave it off/wax it, or leave it alone?

i already have sideswept bangs, but they are getting long and the ends are split, and i want to trim them myself. ive heard you twist the hair one way to get an angled cut, but i forget if you twist away from your face or in towards your face. can anyone help? has anyone heard of this?

DOWN THERE!
well shaving makes the hair come back like the next day, and waxing is OUT of the question.. it hurts too much!
so what's the best way to remove hair painlessly and make it not come back for atleast a week or 2?

Hello Ladies!
I have thick, dark, very curly hair. The actual hair it's self is not that thick, but I have a lot of it!! I also have split ends. It is curly to almost the middle of my back. But it is also frizzy if I don't put any product in it. Right now it is layered at the bottom. Can you suggest to me any haircuts that I can get to make my hair more manageable? They can be any length. Or any good, inexpensive products? Thanks soo much everyone!

I've heard that using a hair dryer often can damage your hair a lot. I am wondering if it has the same affect if you use the cool setting. Thanks!

Cutting your own bangs. I really want to cut a FEW bangs in my hair. I mean VERY FEW, but my mom won't let me do it because I supposedly won't be able to do it straight. But they are right in front, I can get them straight. And even if I didn't, I am going to curl them everyday, so you won't be able to tell...Also, do you think I should even do bangs again? I had them when I was little, like 11 was when I grew them all out. I have medium/light skin (working on that tan) and brown eyes. Dark hair, but I have reddish/blonde highlights. I've use other products like Garnier, herbal and I like how they work for scrunching hair, but haven't yet tried Aussies products does it work well for scrunching hair? I heard that it works well but one friend told me that it leaves her with white flaky stuff on her hair when scruching. thanx

Okay. I want a haircut or hairstyle that looks edgy and elegant. I have slightly wavy hair, but the bottom layers are kinky-curly in some places, so straightening it is hard. i was thinking something "emo" or "scene" but i already know how i want to get my hair cut. i now must come up with a way to get my hair dyed! i already have faded blonde and red highlights and now i was thinking going completely blonde with purple and/or green chunks but once school starts up again, it will just be blonde. i do not want that!!! i also do not want any black in my hair.
