Ok so yesteday I asked if lemon juice can lighten your hair. Yada yada yada.. Got that.
But now I want to know if anyone has any home made recipes for someone with dark brown hair, previously dyed, to lighten it up a bit.
I would like a recipe, how long it needs to stay in, do I need to be in sun or not, how often do I need to repeat it.
I like the thought of natural home made things. They are easier for me to obtain.
I dont want to get my hair dyed professionally..It reeked havoc on my ends and I know how horrible the chemicals are for you hair and your yourself. So I dont want answers saying that it would be easier to get it done by a salon.
Haha Im not trying to be rude. But I have looked at loads of websites..and they are not very specific about it.

Ok my hair is practically the color that my avatar has. and i am gonna get my hair cut soon. so i also wanna dye my hair. so i have like strawberry-blonde hair. so i wanna put like streaks of red in it. but like what color red? i was gonna go with like a maroon-ish red since it is only gonna be in streaks. Three weeks ago I dyed my light blonde hair dark brown and it looked amazing -- for a week. After a week it started fading as did my self-esteem since the darker hair makes me feel better about myself. Someone told me that I should dye my hair red first and then dye over it with a dark brown color because my hair doesn't have the natural red pigments for the brown to stay.

Does anyone know if this really works? I think I'm going to dye it dark red today and wait a week before dying over it with a dark brown dye. I just never wanted to be blonde (even when I was 4 I would tell my mom I wish I had dark hair) so It's really important to me. What would be the best way to go about this?

(I can't get it professionally done because I'm poor right now so I use drugstore products)
