entire outfit you're wearing cost?

2007-11-07 06:02:38 · 19 answers · asked by que otro hay 4

I read that every womans wardrobe should have a classic long sleeve white shirt/blouse in it to mix and match for outfits. Do you have 1 in your wardrobe and do you wear it much? What was the last outfit your wore it with? and where did you buy your blouse. Hope to hear some great answers.

Perhaps with a large floral print, to go with a nice black button down shirt. Any suggestions where I might find one?
Thanks!

the site is modogalleria.com, it's a new online store and very reasonable in pricing. Inventory is arriving everyday so keep your eyes open. Also, if you don't see anything you like, can you please create an account and give comments on what you would like to see and what improvement you feel is need. Thank you so much......................

I have my mom's old wedding rings she gave me several years ago. The set is from about 1958. The diamond is beautiful, appears to be about one carat, with several other smaller diamonds in the band part of the ring. It is in a white gold setting.

I'm considering having this beautiful diamond made into a piece of jewelry for myself. I have my own wedding ring, so I don't need a wedding set. I've thought of having a nice pendant or some type of ring in a more modern setting.

If I take this in to the jewelers, how can I be sure I have the same diamond when I retrieve it? I'm no jewelry expert, so how can I be sure the jeweler won't switch stones on me before I get the piece back? There is a jeweler in town who designs his own stuff and is reputable. But I'm wondering if I, as a novice, can tell the difference in stones.

Also, do you think the piece would have more value as is, in the old original setting, or in a newer more modern piece of jewelry?

I bought a pair of juicy shoes. They are unbearably painful to wear. I wore them a couple of times hoping with each time i wear them, they will break in. This never happened! I paid over $200 dollars for these shoes! The bottom is really messed up because of the gold material they use on the bottom. Will i still be able to return them? I heard Nordstrom has a very good return policy but I am kind of embarrassed to return something i wore but they were so expensive..what should i do?

I would like to know when it is appropriate to begin wearing my red knee and calf-length skirts for the fall and winter? Do I need to wait for a particular date (such as after the US Thanksgiving Holiday) or at some other point? I have a few nice red skirts that I want to wear with my black leather knee high heel dress boots, but I haven't ventured out to wear them as I don't see others wearing this color quite yet. When should I stop wearing this color? After Christmas or the first month of January? Just looking for some tips in this area. Thanks for any help.

Here is a sample color skirt that I am talking about:

These are standard issue swimming trunks with a belt about the length and thickness of a standard-issue tennis shoe string for a "belt." The "belt" is heavily out on one hole in the front, but withdrawn deep into the other hole in the front. I can't figure out how to get it out.

The problem is I was stuck between the sizes of a north face jacket. http://www.thenorthface.com/opencms/opencms/tnf/gear.jsp?site=NA&model=AF5D

medium or small? Are these jackets meant to be worn big so you can wear a thick sweater inside?

So what would you choose if you were stuck between sizes for any kind of jacket or shirt??

I've only seen them in black and they are very tight fitting. I think there may be two sets of buttons up the front, and they have very high collars. Also, the character "Jude" wears one in Across The Universe.
I couldn't find a picture except this one, where I think they're wearing that type of jacket: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v515/Kersten/_401044_beatles.jpg

My daughter's fiance who is 19 bought this white beanie with a bill from Pac Sun. To me it looks like the snow bunnie hats women wore on the ski slopes in the 70's so I can't take his hat seriously. I stifle a laugh every time I see it because I see a girl in a pink snow jacket wearing this hat down the slopes. I know times have changed and fashion is different with each generation, but shouldn't he look in a mirror first?
