Use some wide tape and stick it to the clothing and pull up to remove lint/fur stuff. Repeat in different places on clothing with clean piece of tape until you're satisfied with the appearance. You might want to see if lightly wiping it with a damp washcloth removes some of the lint first.

Take a roll of wide clear tape and roll it around your hand with the sticky part on the out side until your entire hand is covered. Now just start patting it all over the sweatshirt and it will pick up the lint. If there is a lot of lint, you may have to repeat the tape process. Remember you can use the entire tape that's wound all around your hand.

As people have suggested, any form of tape with a non-marking or staining adhesive will work. You should buy yourself a lint roller, though... if you're in an area that is condusive to lint, or have an animal, it tends to pay for itself rather quickly with the relative ease that it allows you to clean garments.

Try using tape like clear tape or even masking tape. Get some with the adhesive side up on your hand and use it as a lint roller.

Take some masking tape and wrap it sticky side up around your hand. It should work good. Scotch tape will work too. It all else fails, try take a dryer sheet and rubbing it all over until the lint clumps up and you can pick it off.

Any kind of tape will help. Just wrap it around your hand and go over your shirt. OR if you happen to have any rubber gloves around, put them on. wet them a little and go over your shirt in short strokes.
