Just use a little ammonia and dishwashing liquid in water with an old soft brush. Then rinse in water again.

Dip the ring in a bit of diluted ammonia or windex & brush the ring w/ a soft toothbrush.

a tiny bit of toothpaste...a toothbrush, and rinse very well. then blot with a soft cloth. shiny!!!!
