I read that every womans wardrobe should have a classic long sleeve white shirt/blouse in it to mix and match for outfits. Do you have 1 in your wardrobe and do you wear it much? What was the last outfit your wore it with? and where did you buy your blouse. Hope to hear some great answers.

I have one that is button up and it's a 3/4 sleeve. I wear it when I have to look atleast a little business casual for certain things (usually around holidays). The last time I wore it was when someone at my husband's job was having a BBQ and we were invited, I wanted to give a good impression so I wore that with a nice pair of jeans and my black boots.

Anyways, I don't wear it often because I tend to try to avoid whites in my wardrobe, it tends to make it look like my face is flushed out. Actually, it's the only shirt I have that is white. lol.

Moving on, every woman I know has one, so what you read seems to be true. It's usually atleast business casual type of a shirt and we tend to wear it to work or to business opportunies and social events. I definately don't wear it anywhere else, doctors appt or shopping I go in whatever I'm comfy in. :D

I'm wearing my fitted white blouse now. it's time for a new one, though, since it doesn't look "starched" and not quite white. It still works for under sweaters and for home. It originaly came from the Gap, but I got it at a thrift store for under $5. I'll look for a new one the next time I go andkeep looking until I find one.

I like it because it' functional for all seasons and almost all occasions. I even got a maternity one, which I found marked down at a second hand baby and children's shop for $1. Igot it because it was chap and versatile. I don't like spending much on clothes to begin with, especially for clothes that I only wore a few months. As it is, I like to spend as little as possible and keep my clothes as long as possible. That's why I like classic items like fitted shirts.

I have several white tailored shirts that I wear to work with skirt suits. I normally by them from Next or Marks and Spencer. I do wear other coloured shirts to work but they are all pastels, pale pink, light blue, cream etc. When I am not at work I rarely wear white as I prefer bright coloured tops for casual.

Yes, I have one. It's from Wealth of Nations. I don't wear it very often because I'm lazy and hate ironing and this takes a fair bit to look really good. Can't remember last time I did wear it actually.
