How long do a "normal" package coming from China suppose to sit in Customs the minute it arrives to the U.S.A.

I am tracking a package from China on the EMS web site. http://www.ems.com.cn/english-main.jsp The tracking results shows the package arrived to the U.S.A and it was handed over to customs. Is this normal procedure? Does it means because a package was handed over to customs that you won't get it? or is that just normal procedure? and how long do they hold a package that is considered good or ok?

What is a high street store? And where can I find.....?

I was told to go to a high street store to find something to wear for an overweight woman to sons graduation! What are some examples of a high street store? I live in Omaha, Nebraska. Also was told to try SPANX. Where can I find them besides ordering online??? Help, graduation is in 2 weeks!!! Also something not extremely expensive would be good, I'm trying to give most money to son, not on clothes, but yet wanna look good too cuz I have to walk across stage w/ him!! Don't want him (or me) to be embarrased of overweight mom!!

How can guys wear boxers?

this may sound strange, but how do u guys wear them without the package flying loose if u know what i mean?I tried wearing them but I just felt somewhat weird. Especiallym how do you work out in them (jog, lift weights, sit-ups etc) tihout them getting in the way?

I'm going to buy an expensive watch. Which one of these do you like best?

I have a pair of jeans and they're too short by about an inch. Any ideas on how to lengthen them?

Im hoping to wear them tonight to a football match. They're only cheap and do have a bit of give in them ie there not stiff jeans. thank you for your help.
