Have sports jackets declined in populariy over the past 20 years or so?

I wanted to get a sports jacket with padded elbows but I have really seen them since the early 90's when my teachers wore them.

If they sell them then they are in style.You should wear what you want to wear,if it feels good do it...

I bet you could find them at thrift stores. And they would be cheaper, even with the dry cleaning.
