I wear flats (like Mary Janes and ballerina flats) because I walk everywhere and don't feel comfortable in heels. The problem is when I buy jeans, they rest comfortably over my foot but they end up dragging on the floor and getting ripped up. If it OK to get them altered on an angle, with the flare being higher in back because they'll end up that way anyway after I step on them for several months.

I know that its customary to wear a nice dress and white shoes during graduation, but what is the min and max that i should spend on the outfit? What type of dress do I wear-short or long? Do they have to be high heels? What about accessories? I am very 5'2 and very slim, what is a good place for me to find a dress?

My new job will require me to dress business casual, which for the men means closed-toe
shoes, except for casual Fridays and other random casual days. On these days I can wear jeans and flip-flops, provided they are not of the "cheap" variety.....Alas, bare feet are out of the question :-(!

Okay, I'm kinda new to wearing pumps for work and trying to get use to it. Is there some kind of low-cut nylon sock to wear with pumps? I feel like my feel get sweaty inside them. Also my heel keeps coming out when I walk, even when I get the smallest size that I can possibly fit my feet into. Can I do anything about this?

Alright, I saw this kind of coat on CNN and this coat, if you fold the jacket, it doesn't get crumpled, if you drop sauce or any food on it, it can easily be removed.
