First practice just standing in high heels. In front of a full length mirror, stand for a while, then turn slightly to each side. Not only will you be able to check your posture and profile, but the act of merely standing in high heels will help remove some of your apprehension, and let you get accustomed to the added height of the heel.
Take a few steps in your high heels. If possible, do this at first on a hard floor (not too slick), or in a room with low carpeting, as really thick or padded carpeting can throw off your balance.
As you walk in high heels, remember to keep your legs straight and as close together as possible. With each step, point your feet as straight in front of you as you can. Start off with slow, determined steps at first, being extra conscientious of each step. As you build confidence and experience walking in high heels, it will become much more natural.
Continue walking back and forth across the room, turning different directions, and stopping without wobbling on your high heels. Once you're comfortable with this, try the same thing on different floor surfaces, and remember to start off slowly with each one.

I don't, and I never have ... for the simple reason that I have too much respect for my feet and legs to 'torture' myself by wearing them so I would be 'sexy' ...
I wish that someone could 'uninvent' high heels, because they are actually the 'invention' of men who believe that a woman should 'look sexy at all times' but should also be 'unable to really do anything else' ... and wearing high heels is definitely a good way to 'keep a woman down' ...
Why don't you go shopping and find some 'really sexy flats' and wear them instead ... there are some LOVELY little 'ballet slippers' that are incredibly sexy, but allow the woman wearing them to be both 'comfortable' and have the ability to 'move around naturally' ...

There is no way how to tell you how to walk in high heels. I can walk in high heels and super high heels. For the both of them you have to kinda practise to walk in them. Example= when you buy them and you are at home take them out put them on and walk around the house in them until you and your feet get used to them. You still have to walk with cautious when you are wearing high heels, or super high. Though super high heels tend to hurt your feet more, they are not to be worn everyday, or for everyday purpose.

Little steps, very carefully, watch for uneven surface areas. Super high heels are best for sitting down in --like dinner at a nice restaurant.

PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE
Especially stairs. Totally different experience in ridiculuously high heels. I can manage 5" heels but know people who wear 7". Definitely gel cushions too as balls of your feet take some punishment.

Keep your back straight.
When you walk and your feet touch the ground, instead starting with the heel try to let the front hit first.
And be VERY careful, if you find it hard maybe you shouldnt walk in those heels anymore, saftey first dontcha think?

well, you gotta jusy practice, keep them on throughout the day when you dont even need to be wearing them, like around the house, so you get more used to them. Also it helps to kind of grab the sole of the shoe with your foot by scrunching your toes so you dont slip around, but one of the best tricks out there is to use hairspray on the bottom of your foot and then put the shoe on, it stays in place a lot better.

May sound weird, but posture is a key role. Keep your whole spine aligned and most importantly engage your core muscles (think yoga/Pilates stances). This should keep you in perfect balance. Don't look down at the ground, it'll throw your balance off.
