I don't want a patch cos it'll look silly where it is, is there any way of fixing it than you can't really see.. Also, I'm at bit rubbish at sewing, so the easier the better!

You can't do very much... if you don't like how patches appear, try putting it on the inside of your jeans so no one will see it.

Get some 'Wondaweb' and iron a denim patch on the inside of the jeans so its not visible.

Why not turn them into a funky pair of jeans, just make a few cuts in the jeans fray them and then you will have a upto date pair (my son and daughter have jeans like these which cost them a fortune)
Or you ould turn them into shorts with frayed edges, as you will not need to sew.

instead of just sewing a patch of denim on it, why not look for a nice embroidered picture or motif? that way you will have a personalised pair of jeans and all your mates will be jealous.

You could try getting that material, that you can iron into the holes, and it entwines itself with the original denim on your jeans.
You can buy a roll of this fabric from www.kleeneze.com
It works wonders on all fabrics and is so easy to use.
