I brought a dress similar to this one (site below) and I want to trim the bottom of the dress a little. I want to cut the dress just below my knees. I love this dress but the only thing is that it is not long enough..it falls right on my ankels and if I wear heels with it...it won't look as great so I figure I would cut it but I don't want to mess it up. I've tried looking around for the past week to find a white dress that falls just below the knee, but I had no luck. Does anyone know that best way to trim a dress like this. If possible, pictures will be great.

I have an interview with one of the directors for a cosmetology program at a college on thursday, I have no clue what to wear. Should I dress business-casual, like dress pants and a button-up shirt, or more trendy like capris with a lacy tank top? I'm not sure how dressed up to get. I appreciate any advice! Thanks.

I'll buy any type of casual or dress shoe or boot, but when it comes to running shoes it Asics all the way. I've been buying the Ascis 20 series since they were in the 2020's. Priced right and they fit my feet, even if they aren't always the best looking.

My husband and I have been invited to a fancy dress party. I thought we cd go as Gabbar and Basanti from Sholay.
Husband does not think its a gr8 idea cos he is thinner and fairer than me and feels Gabbar wont suit him.
I even bought the Gabbar costume.He wont even try it.So I tried it.It looks good even on me.
Any other ideas?
I need a solution fast....party is on saturday.

I have dinner at The Water Club in New York tonight. I haven't been there and am not sure what the dress code is. I think it's a nicer place but nothing over the top. I really don't want to wear a dress or skirt because it is cold outside. Is it appropriate to wear black pants and a nice button-down shirt?

ok. so i see a bubdle of girls clothes on ebay going really cheap. the clothes are armani, versace, all good makes. the seller is from liverpool.

i asked the lady if the clothes were real or fake. i thought i should know before bidding on them. as liverpool is fantastic and well known for the fab bargains and clothes at the main market.

she replied really horrible saying that i offended her and not all scousers shop in markets and how insulting i was, and she would never buy her daughter clothes cheap.

that also offended me as i can afford real makes and i like markets. also offended other ebay members as some have to buy second hand because they cant even afford market ware.

she came back at me with abuse and that she was reporting me for offending her. she made really horrib comments about me.

who was in the wrong about the situation? i thought i was reasonable and had to ask anyway about the makes of clothes. was this insulting to ask??

I have a 18" Neck and 36/37" sleeve. Usually if I buy these off the rack, they fit horribly. The waist and chest is way to big. Calvin Klein used to make a slim cut Dress shirt that fit well. Any other ideas??

I can only wear a high heel for 1/2 hr. And they look so cute I have tried many different kinds. I have a high arch and after a 1/2 hr in them I feel as if my feet are slidding forward in them. My toes turn purple And they hurt a lot. A friend suggested wearing them around the house once in a while. She can run in hers.
