A friend of mine loves her heels, wears them no matter the weather and yes, can run in them. She swears by a product called Insolia Inserts.
You put them inside of your shoe, no one but you will know you are wearing them. What they do is shift the weight off the ball of the foot, back onto the heel.
They're reasonably priced and can be purchased online.
Check out their website listed below. They claim to improve body alignment, ankle stability, foot pressure and lower back and leg fatigue.
My friend also suggested to me wearing them around the house to practice and build necessary ankle strength and what have you. I fear I will never be the 'heel girl' she is. I can stand a few hours out in them but need a foot soak and a foot massage as a result!
Good luck!

If your feet are slipping go out a buy some heel pads. They should help keep your feet in place and stop them from slipping as much. If that doesnt work and your wearing a closed over toe try putting tape around your toes and wherever else it hurts. You might also need to stretch your shoes so that they are the same shape as your feet so try wearing them around the house in socks for about 1/2 an hour each day for about a week and then try without socks untill they stop hurting in everyday use.

Walking in high heels have proven to be tough for every woman. It takes a lot of good balance and pain resistance! Of course you can try walking around the house to practice a little, but always remember when you're out in public to watch the ground... changing from tile to carpet can be a wobbling disaster. As I don't know how many women can wear 4+ inch shoes without any type of padded insole, I use a little 'cheat'. Foot petals are great for every reason-- although they are a pretty penny. They have many different kinds of problem solvers, such as full foot comfort insole, non slip insoles, tip toes, which help prevent sliding your foot forward and etc. Although keep in mind these are adhesive so you can't change them from shoe to shoe. Another note to add, if your heels are already a little snug, I would not suggest putting in any foot petals because it just makes them tighter. More comfortable, but tighter. But anyways, good balance and foot petals or some other type of insole to relieve a little bit of the pain. Remember ladies, it hurts to be beautiful :)

wel how high are the heels you keep getting for yourself?? just coz you got a high arch dont go and buy the highest pair no wonder your feet are killing you coz your bodily weight is being put onto your toes and you not used to it.
first try getting some kitten heels or ones that dont drive you crazy by the end of the day and try them for a bit.. sure it will hurt but all new pairs do that til you get used to them.
as for the running in them dont try unless you know how coz its really funny and embarressing if done wrong coz you wil most prob end up on ur backside or face.. but good luck and practice makes perfect

Since you have high arches shoes off the rack might not be the best for you. There high end brands that come various sizes and widths. Getting the right width will help hold your foot in place, You should also looking insoles. They make some just for heals, but if you have completely included heals regular insole can be cut down to fit.
You might want to see a podiatrist or go to specialty shoe or back store. They will have access to insoles not sold in the regular stores.

When I 1st started wearing heels, I started with a small heel and when I got used to that I moved to a higher heel.
It sounds like you are wearing your heels without tights/stockings. Your feet sweat naturally in a shoe, so wearing heels makes your foot a little slippery and can be annoying with each step your foot slips deep into the toe area.
Try talc in your shoe and your feet before wearing heels. also you can get some pain releiver pads that fit into the ball part of your shoe to help. they are made by scholl ( sry about spelling)
good luck

never mind that wearing high heels ruins your posture, you can walk better if you consciously try to put more weight on the balls of your feet.
the reason you feel as though you are sliding forward is that you are trying to walk normally .. high heels aren't normal.
purple body parts is a sign of serious blood flow deficiency, but why would you care about that when it's so important to wear high heels?

No.. you're meant to stroll heel to toe.. What he's in all probability noticing, fantastically given which you place on severe heels plenty (which you -HAVE- to stroll heel to toe in) is that as quickly as you stroll in residences you nevertheless carry the better 'heel to toe' ingredient. besides the shown fact that it is common and in the event that they think of that's no longer.. then they're the strange ones because of the fact they in all probability stroll that way too. And no that's no longer the way you stroll.
