Hi,
I just bought some expensive shoes and everytime I walk in them they make a squishy type noise. I pressed the location on the shoe where my heel would go and I noticed that is does it when I pressed down with my fingers. It is a hard sandel. It sounds like part of my skin is sticking to the shoe. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

It's SOOO very hard to find clothing that doesn't make my pre-teen look like a grown-up. Or clothing that is just plain inappropriate for a young, Christian girl to wear.

I've been searching the web and cannot fine ONE SITE -- not ONE that will sell dresses below the knee or have an appropriate neckline for a 13 year old girl!

I cannot find a site that will sell skirts below the knee that looks like a 13 year old would wear it.

Please help.

How many pair of shoes have you got? Be honest!

Is there a real need for surplus shoes, a compulsive shopping disorder, a zest for consumerism and materialism or is it because the shoes are there sitting in the shop?

Guys don't have that many.
My shoe wardrobe= I pr flip flops for just about everywhere, 1 pr of sneakers for the occasional jog and in case the missus wants me to dress up a bit and 1 pr of working boots which triple up for hiking and also for weddings if I add a bit of spit and polish.

As far as I am concerned that is all that is needed. 3 pair max

I recently bought a chanel hand bag a a thrift store for 6 dollars. it is in extremely great condition and i had several people look over it to see if it was authentic they all said (and i agree) either its a well made fake or a well taken care of vintage i looked on the internet to find out but couldnt really find anything. it is red medium size, has a "quilted" pattern, a brass chanel symbol, and its chain is about 50 inches with red leather going through. it is real leather no glue like other fakes. and it also has a red leather tassle im im desperate need of help

I went to go buy some plain white socks today, and my choices were down to one where cotton was the main fabric and another where acrylic was the main fabric. The acrylic one was a dollar more, but I couldn't open the bags to see which one was softer.

Is one better than the other? (Actually, I don't know what acrylic is).

I just bought pair of kanji jeans worth 50 pound. I like it very much , it has nice hand made design which is actually japanese samurai or kung fu sort of arts on back two pockets as well front pocket. I'm thinking maybe this is not the best way to alter patterns. I say that b/c every Jo-Ann's store I've called for the 'basic' pattern, the person asks me...you want to make a what? Toile. (Twall) In short, you use the 'basic' pattern to create a 'body print' of yourself. From there you can alter any pattern to your exact measurements. What do you think? Worth it?

I'm 22 and an office manager of an insurance company. I have to wear business casual wear to work, but I hate feeling frumpy or dressing beyond my years in that attire. usually I just end up wearing company logowear. I like clothes at New York and Company, but I never find a good selection there. Does anyone know of any other brands that sound like what I'm looking for? Casual yet feminine and not tooo expensive.
