Fashion & Accessories - August 2006

I have an interview at American Eagle in a couple of days. I figured that I should come dressed in some article of AE clothing to show that I support the company, but I was wondering what would be an appropriate bottom piece to wear.

For instance, could I go with an AE top & jeans (perhaps NOT from American Eagle)? Or are jeans considered too casual for an interview?

I bought 2 jeans the same style but different color right and i tried one on and if fit perfectly so I bought the other one with the same size but different color and I didnt try it on... and it doesnt fit me, its super big and it falls off... how can i strink it? with hot water of something. I need to get it strunk by alot not just a little. How? please help because they were really expensive and it was a final sale. Thanks.

I have three little girls 11, 8, 6, they want costumes for Halloween and they want to have a theme. I thought of the 3 Fates but no one else like the idea. I also thought of 3 blind mice. No one liked it either. Does anyone have any ideas. Please keep in mind I will probably be making them myself.

I am 5'7, and taller than a lot of women my age. I wear either a 7 or 9, depending on the cut of the jeans/pants. But here lately, I don't care what brand it is, or style, or whatever - it never fails that they are always to long.

Example: I bought some pants from Old Navy just last week and the size was 7 Short. But this morning when I went to wear them, they weren't short!!! And, it drove me nuts all day,dragging the cuff of my pants around. I mean, I don't mind some cuff around my feet but dragging half the leg of the pant ---- DRIVES ME INSANE.

I have cut the ends off for years, and worn the cuffs ragged with no seam/hem (??) (hope you know what I mean.) BUT, that is so old and I refuse to do that anymore - so, now what? I have seen altered pants that look silly, and nervous about that route. So what else is there to do?
