timberleigh : sorry i don't mean that people should feel shameful if they shop at k-mart. for me i don't really care where everyone shop at as long as the clothes look nice and fit them and i respect them for who they are not how much they spend on their clothes. i just don't believe that constantly shopping at abercrombie is a good idea since i'm only 15. maybe i shouldn't have compare target to any retail stores.

Nothing wrong with shopping at target! I like K-mart too though. The less I spend on clothes, the more I have leftover to spend on other stuff!

There is nothing wrong with Target clothes. I wear them all the time most of all their workout gear. I have bought lots of other types of clothes there. I think the quality is way better than forever 21 or Charlotte ruse. I'm in my 20's and everyone of my friends buys hanging out clothes at target..

I think that some Target clothes are okay, like the bikinis or the tees, but K-mart is just a cheap and creepy place to buy clothing.

Don't let society dictate every aspect of your life. If you enjoy the clothes you get at Target then wear them... If your friends are that shallow that they would think less of you because you got a decent deal on an outfit then get some new friends. Peace.

Well I guess I should be REALLY embarassed.
I buy clothes from Zellers and Kmart and from thrift stores like value villiage and the salvation army !
That is a pretty shallow thought to think that buying clothes from target or kmart is shameful.
Its clothing, be thankful you have them and you dont have to walk around in your bare *** !

No, it isn't shameful to shop at Target, it's shameful to judge people by how much money they spend! I wish your friends would go to Peru and see how families live in one room shacks in the desert. Maybe then they wouldn't be so shallow.

Not at all! Do your friends all shop at Saks and Barneys or something? Target has come a long way fashion-wise and some top names in high fashion put out budget lines at Target (Isaac Mizrahi, Luella Bartely, etc). And, anyway, it's all in how you put your look together, not how much you spend on it. s.
