Beauty & Style - 6 September 2006

I don't like clothes that are overly trendy, but I want to find stuff that's youthful, casual and relatively comfortable without spending too much money. Any suggestions?

i'm going to 10th grade..

consider that i have band in the morning (At 7 am) but i can bring an extra pair of shoes (like flip flops)
i don't have a skirt so don't tell me to wear a skirt. lol thanks :)

From grocery shopping to clothes shopping, I can't stand it. I've never been a clotheshorse but ever since I met my husband and saved up a lot of money for our wedding - I managed to pull myself away from frivolous spending. Now I despise the thought of having to go shopping - of course I do it, but between the crowds and prices, it is hard. Anyone else feel this way??

I was looking to find out if anyone knows were I could find a website if there is one, were they make (homemade) Georgia Bulldog Purses. I saw one while visting Georgia last weekend and I really thought It was cute and I asked the lady where she got it and she said that her mom had made it. I know it's like, september, but I don't want to have to scramble for something the night before. I'm going to some Halloween parties and stuff, and I'm a teenager. I was wondering: do any of you have ideas that are a little more . . . stylish for Halloween? I was thinking devil (red halter top, knee-length red skirt, horns, pitchfork), greek goddess (white dress, laurel leaf crown, sandals), . . . what else? I want certain people there to see me look cute (guys, ahem ahem.)

Help! I have fairly nice skin ( I'm 15 years old) just with a few lightly reddish areas, so I want a light foundation, ideally just a tinted moisturizer. But every time I go into a pharmacy ( my price range is pharmacy style, no more then $25, i think) there's just so many brands and types and shades that I am completely overwhelmed and leave frustrated, and still with a blotchy face. Any help you can give my regarding brands, types, matching a colour to your face and application would be HUGELY appreciated. Thanks so much. P.S It has to be sold in Canada.

Is it considered cultural appropriation to adopt a hairstyle which traditionally is of African origin?
