i want to know what would be the best college to go and learn 3d computer animation, i want to be making movies like shrek or like toy story ( i live in tx so if its close to here, it would be nice) i have some experience with maya; 3d studio max; photoshop; illustrator.... soooo yeah please and thank you

I want to pursue a career in 2D animation for television shows like Ed, Edd, n' Eddy or The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, but I can't find animations schools that have programs for traditional animation. Yes, I know 2D is a dying art, but it is what I am good at and shows like Spongebob and Family Guy aren't going anywhere soon. I really need help on this!

I am wanting to trace pictures from photographs that I have onto art paper. I was going to buy an opaque projector but then came across ads for light boxes on the net. Does anyone know how these work? Would I be able to use this to trace/outline a photograph or will it only work with a something I can shine the light through, like transparencies instead of the photo? Any information from someone who has used these would be helpful.

I have twin nieces whom are both excellent artists. (20 years old). Would like to send some of their work out to help them get started in their career. They mostly do cartoons, but this picture I have of Gene Kelly in the movie "On the Town" is excellent. Would like to submit it somewhere. Any ideas?

im not talking about drawing people, but like structures, buildings, architecture, that kind of stuff, people would be nice, but whare can i start on learning on drawing, what supplies should i use? ive been using stickies with a 0.5 mechanical pencil. i have no idea whare to start.
