I want to pursue a career in 2D animation for television shows like Ed, Edd, n' Eddy or The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, but I can't find animations schools that have programs for traditional animation. Yes, I know 2D is a dying art, but it is what I am good at and shows like Spongebob and Family Guy aren't going anywhere soon. I really need help on this!

hiya there-

I went to both USC and Vancouver film school, but I also hear good things about Savannah, and Cal Arts. Actually, any school with a decent traditional art program will give you the drawing skills for a 2d animation job portfolio, and I would actually recommend you think first of where you want to live (and work) rather than what school has the most prestige. If you know for instance you want to live and work in Burbank, then a school in LA would probably fit you like a glove, but if you prefer the NY attitude, then look to the east coast at schools like SVA, RISD, or Tisch.

Good luck!
