Musing...let us attempt to correlate or compare a string and its 6 or 7 or how many dimensions or levels to say a single star with it's own levels and dimensions, fields of influence. Since the universe is infinite in expanse and strings are (almost) infinitely small can a somewhat valid comparison be made here? I hope I am making this leap vaguely comprehensible....

There are three things I want to do with my life is to live it to the fullest, live as morally as possible and make sure that my life isn't typical. I either want to join a Buddhist Sangha or monastery as a nun or be a permaculturist hermit. As a nun I would like to travel to Africa to care for those dying of AIDS and of course attain Nirvana. As a hermit I would be isolated but I would be living in tune with nature and leave the least environmental impact. Which of these would you recommend, the life of influence and humanitarian idealism or escaping and pretending never to have existed? Should I try to combine them? Also, do you think I will regret not having a family?

I couldn't manage to make myself nasty or for that matter, friendly, crooked or honest, a hero or an insect. Now I'm living out my life in a corner, trying to console myself with the stupid, useless excuse that an intelligent man cannot turn himself into anything, that only a fool can make anything he wants out of himself.

On second thought though, I'd say that everyone... pride[s] themselves on their infirmities.

I, for instance, am horribly sensitive. I'm horribly suspicious and easily offended, like a dwarf or a hunchback. But I believe there have been moments when I'd like to have my face slapped. I say that in all seriousness- I'd have derived pleasure from this too. Naturaly it would be the pleasure of despair. But then, it is in despair that we find the most acute pleasure, especially whaen we are aware of the hopelessness of the situation.

Before you think it, no I'm not muslim or hindu, etc. I dont believe in joining cults and thats all religions are. Face it, you go to a building and some guy tells you what to believe and what to do no questions really answered, no proof except a book usually written by the same people that started the religion....Sorry, but isnt this usually called a cult? There is no difference between cults and organized religion other than cults usually, and I said usually, dont tell their members to go kill people in the name of their so called god. Why does he/she want anyone dead after all. And just think, the so called peace loving religous folk reading this ...half want me dead right now, 40 % are just thinking I'm stupid(for not believing in fairy tells..lol) and 10 % are starting to see, I'm right. Sad, but leave it of yahoo, I can read fiction later.

Do you believe men was created for a purpose?
We as humans are weaker in body power so we gained intelligence
With that intelligence comes the power to reason.
With that reasoning we question our purpose
We henceforth make up a purpose for our lifes to make it more meaningful.
There is no purpose to life.
DIsagree or agree? please state why

I'm just curious as to what other peoples honest reaction would be under the following circumstance. Please note that I live in Canada where the following, although MORALLY reprehensible, is perfectly legal. So please do not say, "Oh, thats illegal". Also please note that I am portraying this questions for both males and females. So, now for the question.

You are very good friends with a coworker who has a son/daughter who is 16 years old. This young man/woman is extremely self assured, intelligent, and attractive. You have known this person their entire lives since they were an infant, babysat them and spent a great deal of time with them. You get along very well, even share the same interests.
One day you find out through a friend of this person that they are desperately in love with you. You are single and in excellent shape for your age.

What do you do?
Does love cross all boundries?

(Note: This is a fictional circumstance, I am conducting a study)
