Do you think that the 80's is a dark age, a worst decade?

Fashion?Hairs? Entertainement? Music? Attitude? Intelligence? Technology?

As myself, I think the 80's are cool only from the music (new wave), which it is fun to listen and great ballad which you sense the feeling.

The fashion is very strange and ridiculous if it was today. Often a reject.

Some say that people from the 80's ( teen and people) are stupid and despited 80's and he is only 19 years old. True?

80's, a worst decade that you refuse to know?
Which decade do you considered as Dark Age in general? 50's, 60's, 70's, 90's

Often times I've pondered whether or not ones favorite color reveals things about their personality. What's your favorite color? Do you think it relates to your personality? If so, in what way?
I'll give ya 10 points if you can guess mine by this short description:
Bold & outspoken; I laugh easily but when angry I am impossible; I'm sarcastic, I forgive but don't forget; look out for myself and the ones I love above all else. There's a bit more, but there are a few for you to work with. (Well, at least I think that's a somewhat accurate description of me...?) Good luck! Tell me about yourselves too!

once i sat upon a rock
to think and be alone
just a simple little rock
a round and slimy stone

i pondered mysteries of life
and words that wise men said
i thought of joy and happiness
i thought of fear and dread

i had no solutions
for the sorrows that we bear
alone and helpless there i sat
as even tide drew near

then a revelation hit me
like an arrow through my heart
we don't have to change the world
just our tiny little part

we would have more power
than a king upon a throne
if we could get what i just got
while sitting on that stone.

Your own absurd priorities,
Keep me awake each night,
How could you only chance to live be,
Second to inflicting pain?

Is this your fantasy death bed,
How you have wished for it to end?
You layed down knowing your loved ones,
Will soon wish they had the same.

Only this is not how the night was planned,
The plan of the night was quite different.
This isn't your night of suicide,
This is your night of vengence.

The new day is here, and I am left,
With all you seeked for me,
You left me tears and plenty guilt
And of course my dear, yourself.

Original question:
Can anyone show me some quotes from the administration on conservative Islam's influence on art?
Feel free to prove me wrong, I'd like to see what the current administration has to say about artists who are afraid to offend Islam, and I haven't heard anything. Are they ignoring the issue? Why do the Bush administration and many governments around the world have this "hardline" approach to terrorism, unwilling to negotiate, unwilling to allow terrorist suspects the same rights as other alleged criminals, and unwilling to use anything but hardline military tactics on the grounds that anything less would be "appeasement" but don't ask the people to do the same, asking them not to let them be afraid to exercise their right to express themselves? is this a right they're not interested in, or that they want to be able to take away themselves, or a reflection of their tendency to put the importance of rights as unimportant in comparison to the importance of security?

"See You Later..."

Cursing, angrily letting go off my fiercely rage
Directing the thunderstorm in a surrealistic image
Hoping for an apocalyptic world-wide damage
Imagining buildings by force of tsunamis or colliding asteroids destroyed

I’m surprised and terrified of my own death-bringing power

Angrily I direct my revengeful force towards the tower
Flames shake themselves, dancing in an aura of light, setting ablaze a torid fire
Inside, I cry out madly for revenge, in emptiness I cry out for an absurd, lonely desire
I’m all shrouded in the cloak of hate, in my revenge I’ll schedule you all to arrive too late

I won’t just slip quietly, anonymously through the gate

Slaying memories, cutting deep into their heart, murdering them not in cold blood
But in maddening, raging, destructive fury, not at all hiding that I am glad
In my revengeful wrath I want everybody to feel so much more than sad
I punish them by my absence, I am torn by a strong rage, I am not mad
