for my dance team tryouts we have to do a kick dance my kicks aren't realy that good so i need to know how to make them better also i want my split to be better.l have been practicing for thirty minutes everyday or at least try to. Can i get all of this down by march?Also please give me tips.

what should i do to become a better dancer?

My school is having a dance team for the very first time next year and tryouts will be in March. I don't realy know if I'm good at dancing because i've never danced in front of people before. I'm currently in dance class. I've been taking it since this summer. My dance teacher say's i'm good but i feel that i'm not because i cant catch on that quickly. I'm scared that i wont catch on to the dance. What should i do? i allready talked the lady who is sponsering it she said that we will learn two dances hip hop and a kick. Please give me tips on how to become better.

Also 54 people have signed the list to tryout!

I really want to improve my turnout so please if you have any tips or exercises to strengthen the muscles at the back of my thighs then please respond. I really want to get the turn out from the back of my thighs instead of using the front muscles

Pointe Shoe For Dancer with Wide foot no Arch?

So I just got back into taking pointe after six years of being off. I've always worn Blocks or Grishko, but was wondering if anyone has another suggestion. I'm a little older now and don't have the same strength as I did when I stopped pointe in 2000. Suggestions?
