As a subsittute for flying, can one take a ship to Europe? All I can find are cruises that include stopovers. Are there any ships that just get you there and then later, take you home?

We are going to Cozumel via ecstasy, on the
Western Caribbean 5 Day trip out of Galveston, Texas. What are some hidden costs? I heard they charge you $10.00 a day for gratuity!! What other hidden things are there? Do you have a way to sneak liquor on board? Any tips or suggestions? How much is a beer or other drinks? Where you on ecstasy or another ship?

I'm sending my parents to a 7-day cruise going to Grand Cayman, Ocho Rios-Jamaica, and Cozumel this March for their 25year anniversary. I got them a state room with a balcony. I want to know any recomendations for the Cruise itself and for excursions at this three places. Can they take more than 1 excursion at each site? if so which ones are best.

I am considering a cruise in March, and do not have a passport. I think the time is short, so may not be able to go without a passport. Does anyone know from a recent cruise if they accept any other forms of id? Or, what is the best route to get a passport.

I've heard Adventure of the seas is good but too big, and i'm going with my husband on our 'late honeymoon' so we would like a ship thats not totally over crowded or with a lot of kids but also not one for 'old timers'. (we are 21 & 22) I'll take any advice! Thanks!

Ok this may be a stupid question but you book a cruise and it has 3 or four (maybe more) shore excursions... but once you get on the ship.. do you have to book to go on these excursions and pay for them?? I thought they were included in the ship..?

Me and my husband are taking our 'late' honeymoon and what would be a fun ship to go on but not too many kids? Also, we need to stick to a decent price range... I have heard Carnival is cheaper but RC is better... I need some advice! Thanks!

So I decided to make a fully refundable deposit for $500 with a cruise travel agent to keep a low price. Well I found a lower price and decided to cancel my deposit. Before I cancelled my deposit, I saw that $1000 was pending on my card from the cruise line for the reservation. So I told my agent about the $1000 and that I wanted it all fully refunded. She said that the extra $500 was due to the cruise lines mistake and that it shouldn't go through past pending because they would catch it, and that she would take care of it if it did. And she also said that it would take up to 2 billing cycles for my refund! isn't that 2 months? When she said refundable I assumed immediately.

Now the charges to my credit card are not pending, and the full $1000 is billed to my credit card. I emailed the agent and she said that she did all she can and I'll get a refund shortly...

I cannot wait 2 months for this refund since it is the card I am purchasing the cruise on! What can I do??

Hey there, I'm planning on taking a cruise with my best friend this summer, and have no idea how to go about finding the best deal. I know that it is good to wait until like, a month before to jump on a special, but I don't know any of the details, the websites, etc. We are in Canada and would like to go someplace warm and sunny, possibly the Caribbean. Please help!
