My wife and I recently went on a Carnival cruise from NYC to Canada... and there were really tons of kids on board... We figured on a cruise to Canada there might be less kids... but, sadly... that was not the case. We are now interested in cruising to Mexico, but we'd like to find a cruise that has fewer kids on it. I am 46 and my wife is 35. We don't want it to be just old people or something like that... but maybe something inbetween... any ideas?

I have never been on a cruise and I am going this Sunday. There are two formal nights and I am planning on bringing some of my old "promish" dresses... they are really pretty but do people really get dressed up like that? I dont want to be out of place...

I have been on the cruise twice and we loved it; I was wondering about the cruise along the Mediterranean.

Our family is cruising to Cozumel and Costa Maya, Mexico in June on Carnival. The excersions with the cruise line are expensive. Has anyone gone on this cruise and if so would you book ahead or arrange on your own at the port.

I live in Las Vegas and want to travel the Panama Canal on a cruise, (My late-dad did it).
I know most cruises leave FLL about 4PM. And I've also found out (here on Yahoo answers) that the airport is about 15 mins away from the dock. That's all well and good, but I have to ask:
Has anyone had trouble with timing after their plane lands getting to the boat on time?
If I take a "redeye" I can get to the airport about noon. Plenty of time for a 4PM launch. But what if there's a delay? Has anyone "Missed the boat" so to speak?

i have a few questions about the dining on princess.
1)are you allowed to go to the anytime dining any night you want or do you have to choose between traditional and anytime.
2)do they serve the same food in both the resturants?
3) do you still have to wear formal clothing on formal nights in anytime dining?
4) we have booked through an agency and they never asked whether we want late or early dining time. can you change your dining time on board?
5) our cruise is 2 weeks, can we do one week traditional dining and one week anytime dining.

thanks ^^

I checked some- Carnival and Royal Caribbean- and they all seem to require you be 21 without a guardian.
I thought this was a big spring break trend, so lot's of 18+ people went on cruises...I assume since it's Spring Break they didn't bring a parent.

I get frequent promotions from a couple of cruise lines via email for last minute deals. Usually, the cruise takes off in 2 or 3 weeks from the time the email is sent. I've done this before and saved about 70%. The thing is, ship availability is usually for a cabin sleeping two, and we have a child.

We don't have a need for a nanny in our normal day to day lives. But, do you think a nanny would consider taking on a one week job and going on a cruise with us in a different cabin for two? The nanny could even have time off during onboard kids club hours.

Good idea? Bad idea? Your thoughts please.

The reason I ask is because my husband and I receive a free cruise to the either the Bahamas, Cozemel, and a few other destinations to choose from the cruise line is the royal Caribean (although that is a wonderful cruise line) just wondering if anyone else has received/ gone or thought about going on one of these free trips. Just looking for some insight. Thank You!!!

I want to go on a cruise, but don't have a partner to share a cabin with. I would prefer to just go alone, but can't afford a double-rate for a single cabin. Other than "special" cruises for singles, are there cruise lines that offer a single for a single rate?

I am looking at a royal carribean cruise, and it says it includes room service and stuff, does that mean its avible, or but you have to pay for it, or does that mean EVERYTHING is free? (besides tip)

It also says includes most meals...what does this mean?

How much cash should I take with me per person?
