I used to play...and for some reason I feel like trying again, even though I was never any good when I was young and in shape.

i am in grade 10 and i was thinking about joining the rugby team at my school. my parents dont want me to because they think it's too rough. i am 5 foot 7 and 110 lbs so im not really built for it. im also good at running, but long distance not sprinting. i am doing other sports right now. i downhill ski, snowboard, run, swim, i will be doing track and field and in the summer i waterski, wakeboars and barefoot. is it going to jeopardize my sports career. i dont want to really risk being out for the season with an injury. what do you think, should I do rugby or not?

It's for a stunt in cheerleading. I'm flying for the first time and I need to know how many average to strong guys it would take to do this stunt with me called flatback where the flyer is held above the heads of the bases, their arms are completely outstretched and the flyer lays stiff as a board with her back on their palms. I need to know how many of y'all it would take to do this stunt with me and how difficult it would be to support someone my size. Thanks!

I know the score of the FABULOUS 6-Nations rugby International match made history in Ireland.. just by way of a reminder.... ;-) - Ireland 43 - england 13..

Call me an aul' cynic here but can it only be me who can't help "wondering" if somewhere deep rooted in the english mind there was a bit of "let's do our bit for the "Peace Process".and let the Irish win - as well as make this gesture to the GAA and the Irish?..

I can't help wondering because even though I KNEW Ireland would win comprehensively, I certainly didn't expect england to GIVE the Irish the match - and that is exactly what it looked like to me!

So the question is, did england GIVE the match away on political advice or they thought it would be a political gesture for the Peace Process?

Doesn't matter if they did really, Ireland didn't need any help from them. The Irish team were in a class of thier own, and, as always, the BEST team WON !!.. and won honestly.

30 points! You have to admit its the most embarising day fro english rugby! Is it the biggeste loss for any English Rugby Team?

If Ireland beat England by ten points you would say we trashed them, by twenty what would the English fans say?! But 30 points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bring on the World Cup! To beat the World Champions by 30 points is an element for the southern hemisphere nations to take note!? Whats your opinion? Its a pity that Ireland didnt play for the first 20 minutes against France, but the result Ireland got today should New Zealand and South Africa and of course the Oz y s take note!!!!!!! I m under the impression that the world should be wary of the Irish Team, outside bet for the World Cup? Maybe? Irish Eyes Are Smiling!

Brian Moore was an ok rugby player.

But listening to him during matches is grim.Think his fellow presenters find it all a bit embarassing!
No harm in a bit of patriotism, but it should not totally dominate your perspective!

Okay, so poor old Scotland got beat by lowly Italy-good to them- by 20 points, and the World Cup holders got hammered by 30 points! Poor things;)
This does not make me feel any better, even though we played better, than the last game, but…………?
Why or why? Did we kick the fecking ball back to them, when we had little possession to start with?

From the class and respect shown from the crowd during God save the Queen, the passion and emotion in amhran na bhfiann I mean to see John Hayes and Jerry Flannery visibily crying was extremely poignant. The will and desire to win displayed by the Irish was outstanding, the icing on the cake was Horgans gaelic style try AND we even saw Eddie O'Sullivan smile!!!Historic.. a great day to be Irish.
