Fantastic. Incidentally did you witness Gerry Adams laying a wreath after the game.
It was to commemorate the slaughter of 15 English rugby players earlier on.

Watched the game at home on TV and thought the atmoshere came thru really well.
Although I have heard of Croke park I did not really know it's history ,So well done to the Irish for moving on although I don't really inderstand why having England playing there is any more significant than having Wales or Scotland ,as England are no more or less British than the other nations.

As a kiwi, I think the place should be torn down. There's no way in hell I want the All Blacks to play there. I think we will play Ireland late in the next world cup and I'd be more than a little bit nervous about playing in front of that crowd. The park looked amazing. I have a friend from Laois, who gave me the history lesson about a year ago and when I found out they were playing this year, no-one could make me miss it. What a game your boys played. There really was no way u were going to lose but how I love seeing England get thumped.

Croke Park is the best stadium in Ireland right now. That's why the Special Olympics were held there. I hope the people who redeveloped Croke Park are working on Landsdowne Road too. They did an unbelievably good job on Croker.

I wish I could have been there yesterday.... what a brilliant show of how rugby should be played... as a Springbok supporter I was pleased to see my second fav team win again. As for the singing, my god Ireland you do stand shoulder to shoulder. I think that Croke Park should be the home of Irish Rugby. Now if some bugger could beat the French!!!

Cool! I'm English but I live over here, so I've seen Croker loads of times. Looked like there was a great atmosphere in one of the best stadiums in Europe. Ireland should be proud to show it off, and well done to the GAA for opening it up to foreign sports :) Too bad most of us were priced out of the game but I hope they take ther time rebuilding Lansdowne. Maybe we can see Croker a few more times yet.

WELL FROM A ENGLISH MATURE POINT OF VIEW I THINK IRELAND APART FROM SHOWING ENGLAND HOW TO PLAY RUGBY , YOU SHOULD BE SO PROUD OF YOUR PEOPLE AND THE COMPOSURE SHOWN BY ALL PRESENT AT THE GREAT CROKE PARK BLOODY SUNDAY AND ALL THE OTHER CRAP NATIONS HAVE THROWN AT YOU AS A WHOLE HAS ONLY EVER MADE YOU STRONGER AND PROUD.
I LIVE AND WORK CLOSLEY WITHIN THE IRISH COMMUNITY AND SEE ALL VIEWS SOME GOOD SOME BAD BUT I RESPECT THE IRISH AND THEIR PROUD HERATIDGE LET THE GAMES BEGIN AND LET US ALL BE THANKFULL OF WHAT WE ALL HAVE TO OFFER..JON

I'm from South Africa and I think its a magnificent stadium...
The capacity , the lights , the green green grass and everything surrounding it...it is really a magnificent stadium
Just wondering why you didn't start using it earlier to play International games.....
Well done for building it Ireland and keeping it in such a good shape...
