I know the score of the FABULOUS 6-Nations rugby International match made history in Ireland.. just by way of a reminder.... ;-) - Ireland 43 - england 13..
Call me an aul' cynic here but can it only be me who can't help "wondering" if somewhere deep rooted in the english mind there was a bit of "let's do our bit for the "Peace Process".and let the Irish win - as well as make this gesture to the GAA and the Irish?..
I can't help wondering because even though I KNEW Ireland would win comprehensively, I certainly didn't expect england to GIVE the Irish the match - and that is exactly what it looked like to me!
So the question is, did england GIVE the match away on political advice or they thought it would be a political gesture for the Peace Process?
Doesn't matter if they did really, Ireland didn't need any help from them. The Irish team were in a class of thier own, and, as always, the BEST team WON !!.. and won honestly.

That's exactly what I am asking in my question. Maybe I should have put it in the political category not sport, but I thought I woudl get an honest answer here !
