Before i check the brake batteries on my PT cruiser, should i put the turkey in the oven and the pour honey syrup all over my body then get on the Katana 600 i just bought and ghost ride it off one of my freestyle ramps just so i can watch the carnage. My question is? Do you think this is normal? or should i go buy a KX100 and figure out how fast it goes?
Yes, I do know what forum it is!

I don't know which pit bike to get, a demon 140 or a stomp 150. My mates Stomp's have fallen to peices and my other friend's demon has stayed alive, all the demon has had is a ripped fork seal. However, my stomp friends bikes have had all sorts of problems. Gears have blown, water somehow filling up the crankcase, dirt getting all around the carb with a new filter and all tight screws. I would like the reliability of a demon but the power of a 150. Demon sell a 150 but it's £995, the stomp 150 is £460. but the demon one is all race ready (marzocchi, billet ect). Which should I buy, please don't just say yeah stomps rock, tell me what problems yyou've had or where they excell. Thanks ppl.

This is a toughy. I saw a video on youtube a while back. It was hilarous. The guy was showing all the things not to do on a dirtbike. I recall that it was a little less than 10 minutes in length, and he showed how not to do everything (he said it as if you should do it) from starting your bike to handling whoops. I've tried all combinations of possible keywords, but I can't find it.

...what do you think of Espeleta's proposal for Control Electronics in the coming years?

Personally I would like to see the bike's going back to the 500 days of rider skill getting the bike round the track, but on the other hand, it is MotoGP and it is about using the best technology and developing it.

I dig riding on the road but am keen to get on the track. Obviousley there is a greater risk of me dropping the bike because I will be in race conditions but at least they will be in a supervised arena.

Any more pro's and cons would be appreciated.

Ok, Stewart is coming back, and will probably be picked to win both titles, but what about Grant Langston, Ryan Villipoto and others. What are your thoughts? I'm rooting for Villipoto.

Where else do you like to find your racing news? And do you have any sites you'd like to share with us?

I have Crash net as one of my home tabs - as I can access all the racing news from there, then there's Motogp, WSBK, BSB own sites.

I read a few different "racing" sites, and sometimes post on MCN
http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/News/

or Visordown (online part of T.W.O.)
http://www.visordown.com/ That's me with the "racing monk's" caption about matching robes/paintwork!

but where else do you like to go for that mix of info. opinion and laugh out loud sillyarses??

I am getting a bit pigged off with Y/A and am serioulsy considering packing it in. If I do so, could I give my points to any of you guys who at least come into the race section now and then? I may hang around a while but there is little action in either the racing or motorcycle section these days and as for the rest - what a load of nonsense - celebrity, WWE, racist rantings etc. Time is precious and maybe I should go find a place where I can ask and answer some bike questions or get involved in a real discussion with like minded folks. There are some of you who come here to the racing that do get involved in great questions and answers but there are not too many of us. So if you know if there is some way to allow me to distribute my meagre points then I would think about it and then bow out!
