Why do you think so? I think that he is overrated. He rarely sees the ball and when he does, he doesn't do much with it. He is currently rated #2 in the world player rankings.

Don't you think the rest of the football world would be against that? It seems it would be very very difficult for Brazil NOT to win the World Cup on their home soil, although I realize they did lose it at home in 1950 to Uruguay.

I'm in Canada and I have joined my school soccer team. The coach has seen how good I am and has sent me on the Vancouver soccer team. I just wanted what I should do to become a professional soccer player. Where should get noticed? Where should I find scouts who can help me get into MLS and then get transfered to Europe for higher levels. How should I keep my dreams alive? I'm in grade 10 of high school and already I was asked to join the Vancouver Soccer Team because they have seen a lot of potential in me.

Thanks for any advice and Merry Christmas to all.

I have been a loyal fan of Everton since long. I love their unity passion & they are such a humble litle squad with a burst of talents?
And i love Arsenal too! they play really sexy football.
But they are too popular to handle. haha

so what's yours? give me ur thoughts & opinions thanks!

haha this sounds crazy but i think this is some kind of special formation... i mean 3-6-1!

3 defenders---> rio ferdinand, john terry, ashley cole
( coz any other defenders are not as good as them, 1 john terry is actually 2 defenders, he's just good)
substitute --gary neville

6 midfielders---> frank lampard, steven gerrard, joe cole, owen hargreaves, theo walcott ( he's sort of working magic with @ arsenal now) & aaron lennon
( loads of very good midfielders means the ball will get stuck in the middle no matter wad plus even if it does slide pass all 6 of them, there're the superb defenders)
substitute--michael carrick

1 striker----> wayne rooney
( all the other strikers are so crap u can't really imagine them playing & wasting space & time, crouch runs too slow, defoe too inaccurate, owen is just dead & rotten, then there're also alot of support from 6... 6 midfielders)
substitute--- peter crouch

make sense???
haha pls give me ur oppinions

here in the states we only get to see either the epl, mls or one italian game a week and i love watching the skills of guys like ronaldo, ronaldinho, kaka, robinho, adriano, etc. but none play in the epl and i always wondered why they all seem to do two years in the dutch league and move to either italy or spain, nothing against those two leagues but are they actually better than the epl and the epl is as overrated as the english and usa national teams or is the serie a and la liga the two strongest leagues? i was real curious i just find south american soccer fantastic and i always hear how great the english leagues are but its seems a reoccuring thing with no brazialians

i don't understand how football (soccer) is practically religious while the americans have 'footbal'. why does a person like one sport over the other for obvious reasons? why are the sports so popular in one place and not in the other?

Host /countries from the same continent as the host [usually neghbouring countries] win worldcup /play in final if not semi finals. So it is much likely that one country from africa can string suprises by winning fifa world cup for the first time .Which african country can do that . you can only deny this if you don't know much about world cup.[2/ more african countries if you like]
