I was just wondering, If there are other leagues in Europe that allow so much foreign investment into their football clubs. Three of the top four clubs are now owned by people that are not english. I am just curious to know how the english feel about this.Is it a problem or not ?

With 30 million pounds spent on Rooney 30 million on Ferdinand 18 million pounds spent on Carrick are willing to pay 23 million on Hagreaves and have been linked with other signings that is more than 100 million pounds spent in the last 3 years is that a tight budget.A claim of a 50 million pound warchest every season is not a tight budget is it.

But when you come to work for one of them you begin to realise that is not the case. It doesn't happen like that..... so did Walt think referees were bent in favour of Celtic and Rankers before he became a 'proper' currant bun???

Surely it's time to re-introduce standing areas to football grounds in the UK. We're always hearing about the disasters at Heysel and Hillsborough which were terrible events, but how many thousands -if not millions- of matches have there been in the past where there were absolutley no problems with standing areas?
