Fantasy Sports - November 2006

Shaun Alexander should be back in the next week or 2. I currently have his back up Maurice Morris and Kevin Jones as my starting backs in Alexanders absence this year. I have Mushin Muhammad, Greg Jennings, Marvin Harrison, Rod Smith, and Wes Welker as my WRs. Usually I start Morris and Jones as my backs, and Harrison, Muhammad, and Jennings/Smith/Welker depending on injuries or matchups. This week depending on Alexanders status, Im thinking of starting the 3 RBs, with Harrison and Muhammad as my WRs. Would this be a smart idea? Or should I just start 2 RBs?

I lost my matchup on ESPN FF this week by 2 points. I have mcNabb and just found out that Buckholter's fumble recovery was ruled a catch for a TD. This was reported on ESPN's sportscenter. The change would give me the win.

Do I have to contact my league's creator, or does ESPN automatically change the stats?

Nov 15 Les Bowen, of the Philadelphia Daily news, reports the NFL has changed Philadelphia Eagles WR Reggie Brown's catch and fumble that resulted in a fumble recovery and touchdown for RB Correll Buckhalter has been changed. The NFL ruled Brown did not have possession before Buckhalter caught his deflection, giving Buckhalter a 55-yard touchdown reception instead of a fumble recovery. WR Reggie Brown now has one catch for 18 yards during the Week 10 game. QB Donovan McNabb now has 257 yards passing in addition to the 55-yard touchdown pass.

Here's my team.
I'm not feeling very confident about it even though I am on top of my league at 9-1 (Standard 10 team Yahoo 1 pt 20 yds and 6 per TD) I've gotten lucky with matchups, but my luck is bound to run out, and soon.

A Green vs the patriots, Addai at Dallas, Lundy against Buffalo or Edge against Detroit. Green and Addai are the better backs but Lundys got a good matchup and Edge has gotta get his 100 yarder this week if he ever plans on it again. I can only play 1 of these

Prefer a comparison of CBS Fantasy Commisioner and Yahoo Fantasy Plus.

the stress of seeing your receiver ALMOST break that long touchdown... the pain of seeing your quarterback twisting on the turf after a knee blowout... or your kicker's 54 yard field goal sail JUST wide right... or the distraction of following cbs' game trax where YOUR player's stats disappear just before a commercial airs... grrr..

the "stress" of watching the games where i have a player involved almost makes me enjoy "neutral" games (where i have no players involved) more.

anyone else feel this way... any other gripes about following your fantasy team on tv? just curious...

As you should know...the trading deadline is almost here and I am in a bind...I am really looking to grab Drew Brees...I have Colston and he would be a great addition going into the playoffs...however, who do I give up? my roster consists of the following: Marvin Harrison, Jake Delhomme, Jake Plummer, TJH, Roy Williams, Tiki, Thomas Jones, Rod Smith, Jamal Lewis, Reggie Williams, Marques Colston, etc. These are the main names...everyone else, the opposing team is not really interested in except maybe Ronde Barber...he does have already Steve Smith, Darrell Jackson, and Chester Taylor...WHAT SHOULD BE DONE ON MY END TO GRAB BREES?

I got offered Jake Delhomme & Chambers for Drew Brees & Horn.

My other QB's are E.Manning and McNair

My backs are LT, J.Lewis,A.Thomas (i may be able to get C.Taylor from him instead of Delhomme)

My other WR's are P.Burress & A.Bryant

I'm thinking of delaying this trade for next week because i want to play Brees vs CIN this week however if Horn doesn't play this week i will be forced to start Bryant.
