Here's my team.
I'm not feeling very confident about it even though I am on top of my league at 9-1 (Standard 10 team Yahoo 1 pt 20 yds and 6 per TD) I've gotten lucky with matchups, but my luck is bound to run out, and soon.

QB Eli Manning
WR Marvin Harrison
WR Donald Driver
WR Reggie Brown
RB Tiki Barber
RB Ahman Green
TE Kellen Winslow
BN Anthony Thomas
BN Deion Branch
BN Terry Glenn
BN Carnell Williams
BN Maurice Jones-Drew
BN Chris Henry
K Jeff Wilkins
DEF Jacksonville

So here are the questions:
1) My QB situation is horrible (last week I did play Kitna, fortunately, but have since cut him).
So the question is, which if any of these guys do I get off the WW?
And who do I start this week? And who would I cut?
Trent Green
Brett Farve
Jon Kitna

2) Is Jax a decent defense to stick with? Other options on the WW include:
San Diego
New York Giants
Oakland
Pittsburgh
Miami
Arizona

FYI, to the guy that said Green isn't coming back....the Chiefs are planning to start Green this week.

I cant believe someone has dropped some of those defenses!!! I would try and get San Diego or Miami defense....both have been solid, barring my Bengals last week....as far as QB, I just picked up Green myself.....Im a big fan, but having Gonzalez out will hurt him some. My other QB's are Farve and Brees....so if I were you Id look at the matchups and pick what looks like the best move....Kitna has done suprising well now that they have opened up thier offense and Kevin Jones is running the ball well. but of the three, Farve is your safe pick, Green is your long shot (depending on how well he has recovered, Id still go with him) and Kitna is your in between guy....never knowing if he is gonna put up 150 yards and 2 INT's or 300 yards and 2 TD's....good luck :) and if you need room....go ahead and cut Carnell williams.....I held on to him up till this week, but havent even played him once this year....

Okay, let me break this down. You are 9-1 and you are not confident. That is never a good sign, especially when you have the best WR in the NFL in Harrison, and a couple of the top RB's in the NFL. Your TE is okay. I am just glad to see Winslow on the field. Your starters are very good. I understand your concerns regarding the QB slot. I am not confident on Eli Manning. Personally, he is overrated. People need to stop making Manning as if he is his brother because that he is not even close. He already does not look good when compared to Rothlisberger (SB XL Winner) and Phillip Rivers this season. Barber is that Giants team. He makes the Giants go.

I would not start Manning [b/c of Jaguars D]. I would stick with who's hot, which is Brett Favre. I would cut Kitna. Keep Green to see how he performs. If the Chiefs won in Miami, Huard would still be playing.

Now, defense: Elimate the Raiders, Cardinals, Steelers, Dolphins, Chargers. The Steelers have been bad on D this year and the other teams are just not renowned defenses. Keep the Jags D & Giants D. I would play the Jags D for Monday night. I think the injuries on the defensive side will take its toll as they face some decent teams down the stretch.

I hope this helps. Lastly, think about inserting Branch for Brown at times since Hasselbeck will be back for the stretch run with Alexander.

Trent Green IS coming back this week, ESPN has reported. Do not cut Brett Favre, if you are in the playoff hunt he has a great playoff schedule. Cut Jon Kitna, since the Mike Martz offense in Detroit is different than the one is St. Louis.
Jacksonville is a decent defense, however cut Deion Branch, he doesn't do anything, just a big-name putting up goose eggs. Keep JAX and pick up San Diego. #2 ranked defense on the waiver wire, you should have snatched them up many week ago!!!

Well the QB situation can be addressed, I don't see Green coming back after his injury, Huard's done really well. Favre can be good, he can also throw lots of picks depending on the defence he faces. Is Romo still available? Has someone been silly enough to drop Hasselbeck? You could try a trade for him, maybe with the person who has Portis, they might well be looking for a running back about now, perhaps you can dangle Jones-Drew in front of them and see what happens.

I'd say the Jax defence is fine, I've got it one side and in that list there doesn't seem to be a real upgrade available.

My personal opinion would be Farve. Green is still a huge "?" on how he will perform. Study the schedule for the remainder of the season...especially the last games of the season that would be your playoffs...then choose the on with the weakest schedule. As for your Def...It's a crap shoot as always with defenses although something to think about...Oakland's schedule is looking very nice the second half of the season for teams that turn over the ball a lot as well as allowing sacks. Also, since Oakland's offense is pretty dismal, their defense is on the field a lot more!!! As for the guy who answered just before me...Um...Green is back! Good Luck!!!

I would lean toward Anderson. Other than the week the Jets teed off on the Steelers, they haven't done much. Hasselbeck is also good. I like the Cards defense a little better than the Jets though. Definitely stay away from Manning. To unpredictable.

I'd pick up Favre as a backup, but play Eli most weeks. I like all those DEF (except AZ) better than JAX. Maybe drop Glenn and pick up another DEF and just play whoever has the better matchup.
