the stress of seeing your receiver ALMOST break that long touchdown... the pain of seeing your quarterback twisting on the turf after a knee blowout... or your kicker's 54 yard field goal sail JUST wide right... or the distraction of following cbs' game trax where YOUR player's stats disappear just before a commercial airs... grrr..

the "stress" of watching the games where i have a player involved almost makes me enjoy "neutral" games (where i have no players involved) more.

anyone else feel this way... any other gripes about following your fantasy team on tv? just curious...

Well, actually like some of the other answers, I find myself enjoying the games more because there's more on the line than just NFL standings. I'm a huge GB Packers fan, so I usually only cared about their games and whether or not the Bears and Vikings lost. Now, however, I find myself interested in almost every game that is being played. Yes, like you mentioned, it is kinda frustrating when my WR watches a 60 yard td catch slip through his fingers or an RB fumbling on the one yard line before he scores a td....but makes NFL games that much more interesting because so much more is riding on the games than just rooting for my home team.

Not me. Fantasy football has made many more of the games 'interesting' for me.
It use to be I was only interested in watching a select few teams. Now between my guys and my opponents, most of the games are worth watching and more exciting.
Stessful, yes but fun!

I do enjoy watching football less since the fantasy days. I think its a symptom of being too competitive in a game that takes skill but relies on luck.

no its much funner, it adds an interesting element to every game just like previous person im a huge GB fan and fantasy sports makes every game fun, its one of the main reasons i think the sunday ticket is worth it. me and my friends will watch a game between say arizona and oakland because we have fantasy players from those teams and the sunday ticket you can set up alerts for your players on your team so i dont have to wait for cbs

sorry to make it an advertisement for sunday ticket lol that wasnt the intention

No. It's a emotional roller coaster ride. You get happy, sad, mad and crazy watching games you never would have watched before. It's getting the whole league more exposure. I find myself watching the Detroit Lions because I have Kevin Jones on one of my teams. I know more football now because I watch all I can to see how my guys perform.
