I would say no, this why. I think Reggie Wayne and Ronnie Brown are a bit of a wash, they're pretty even points-wise.
Also, you have Ladell Betts, if you drafted him or picked him up a couple weeks ago in anticipation of Portis being hampered by the injuries, kudos to you. I think Ladell Betts will do very decently in Clinton's absence. Before the season began, Al Saunders said that Ladell and Clinton reminded him of Priest and LJ. I don't know which was which, but that is pretty high praise for Ladell. Also, with the Skins going to a rookie QB, they will lean heavily on the run(with Duckett finally getting some touches). This could be bad if Campbell underperforms though because then D's can "stack the box". I don't think the latter will happen because Campbell has "escapability" and will make teams who don't honor the run and pass by rushing too many players pay by running right past them.
Deuce and Jamal aren't that great but you've had to deal with them all year. Jamal, though is starting to get a lot more carries, except for the last game when the Titans jumped out ahead early. And McAllister is still a TD machine.
Doing this trade would leave you extremely thin at WR. I don't see Moss doing well with the new players, the Skin's will be a run 1st, 2nd, and 3rd team. Clayton is coming along as the Ravens O is getting better, so I would keep him locked at 3WR. Also, I love Joe Horn but having 2 WR's from the same team can sometimes be troublesome, especially if the Saints have a bad passing day.
If you can find a Saints fan in your league, though you're probably him, I would see if you could package Deuce and Horn for a middle of the road RB or WR, but RB first. Maybe wait until next week and see if either Horn or McAllister blow up.
Brown is averaging 15.1 points per game. Wayne is getting 14.3 points per game. Then you want to add Wayne's points to either Lewis or Deuce because those are the guys you will be starting anyway and their average is, Mc 11.6 and Jamal 7.8. Of course you would have to add in your substitute WR but I think you see that Brown is only getting 3.5 more points per game over Deuce while Wayne will be getting a lotmore than whichever reciever you have in there.
Sorry for the rant. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Umm No don't trade him . Manning is finding him open more often cus Harrison is getting double coverage man. Why would you trade him for Brown ?? Brown will do nothing since Stallworth is back and is gonna be Mc Nabbs favorite target besides Westbrook. You're trading a stud in Wayne for a so-so wr in Brown why ?? Give the guy Moss and Clayton if you want Brown or a Rb since Portis is out and on IR.
My bad I thoguht you ment the Eagles Brown . Still NOOO though you don't trade anyone for a Dolphin this year .. THEY SUCK LIKE THE RAIDERS....

Your RBs are good enough and ronnie brown is on and off. Play Deuce and Ladell they are going to get big numbers for sure. Your WRs look good too. Stick with Reggie and Marques those boys are the truth.

Very tough to say. McAllister could go off, and so could Lewis. But they could also get injured just as easily. Considering your receiving corps, I'd probably pull the trigger. Moss and Colston are pretty good, and Horn could step in. Not to mention there are always receivers in free agency. Do it if you're confidant, but if you're hesitant, keep Wayne.

I am in the same boat as you. I lost Portis and I'm stuck with Mc Allister and Droughns, and am about to pick up Betts off waivers. I am surprised nobody asked you about Colston. Brown is not a bad runner, but if I were you I would stand pat and watch the waiver wire. You may get lucky.

Its a very even trade from your stand point and here's why.
***The following Pts per game are estimates based on the league im in with similar scoring
R. Brown=14 pts/game
Mcallister=11.5 pts/game
Betts=7.11 pts/game
Lewis=7.77 pts/game
wayne=14.11
colston=16
moss=8
horn=8.55
clayton=8.22
Without the trade you can expect
RBs=mcallister and lewis for 19.2 pts/game
Wrs=wayne colston horn for 38.66 pts/game
Total=57.8 pts/game
With the trade
RBs=Brown and Mcallister for 25.5 pts/game
WRs=colston, horn and clayton for 32.77 pts/game
Total 58.2 pts/game
Therefore you need to see how much the opponent would be benefitting and base your decision on that.

I think I would do it.
Nick Saban's teams always seem to do better in the second half of the season. Last year and in college.
