Basketball - November 2006

Ok,so recently my PE teacher was like "u should try out for the basketball team,i think ur really good," so i'm like "um,i'll see....." and it turns out the tryouts r on monday =P.
any tips on what i could do to prepare in the short time that i do have???

This week is opening week for the 2007 NBA season and I think the new rules suck. Constant whistles being blown before players could even dribble the ball. So many players were thrown with tech. fouls and even ejected from the game for stupid stuff. I think Stern is trying to take out all the fun in the NBA games. I think he is trying to turn the NBA into corporate america and the NBA or any sport could never be that way.

When I saw the clippers attendance for some games they have more people than 18,997 (sellout for lakers) even if they play at the same place as the Lakers? I remember seeing the crowds go up to 20,000 sometimes.
