I don't think he's bad for the game. He just gets a little excited and carried away sometimes.

He is an individual who isn't shy about openly saying what he thinks. He would never make it as a politician (but then open honesty from someone with some intelligence might be a refreshing change.) Too many in professional sports and politics now who are locked into the good Ole boy act.

IMHO, if there is no one vocally questioning policies and decisions, there won't be a democracy. not all that David Stern says is gospel truth. someone has to speak out in behalf of coaches, owners, and players. Opinion is not the villian. Apathy and lack of participation is. :)
