At work today (work for small company out of a house) the boss told 2 co-workers to go outside and kill a groundhog in the backyard. The two couldn't wait cause they love killing since they like to hunt. Long story short...they used a pellet gun and shot at it numerous times (about 10 minutes), then finally heard the poor thing screaming / squealing. Still not dead, but now suffering. One of the guys even had an axe ready to hack it up if it came out from where it was hiding. At that time I got up and said "This Is Disgusting" and left for the day (only 1/2 hour early, but still..). Am I over-reacting, or would you have found this disturbing as well? I'm the type who would've trapped the groundhog, then released it down by the river or something.

The bible says thou shalt not kill, it doesnt make since to kill someone for killing someone. The bible says an eye for an eye but I think that was back in the old testament before jesus dided for our sins and saved us from religous persecutions. We dont live under those curses anymore like they did in the old testament, jesus have saved us from that. Dont get me wrong iam not saying criminals should go free, they need to be punished, they need to be locked up for life, its just not up to us to play god and determine when someone dies.

Okay being from Michigan and my best friends dad telling me about growing up in detroit and knowing Hoffa it makes me wonder if the Mafia is still big? Do you think they are? Do you think they are just on the down low? I am not talking about gangs i mean the real Mafia.

Every time an email comes across my In Box that has a warning note to it, I always check www.snopes.com. But how do these "rumors" (for lack of a better term) get started? Better yet, why does it always have to be so horrifying? Example: needles with virsus attached to gas pumps, razors in benches at parks.....
