I mean, why stop and get an impression of something to say - "this here is what this relationship means to me"? Waiting forthe specific day is a waste of time in our human RACE.

I mean specific days rather thn giving/receiving in the flow of life - when needed.
I don't celebrate my birthday, because I don't identify myself with a certain time of year or personality traits. I am flexible.

I think I prefer "I don't understand you question" when people don't understand.

True,

A card or a gift that is not associated with a Birthday or Christmas or Valentines day is so much more meaningful than just doing it because you have to.

Because of the hype that surrounds the event. It's disappointing to know that our other half, or even other friends/family, have made a conscious decision not to bother making an effot to make us feel special.

Everybody talks about it and asks each other what they got, so, yes it's important to get a card or present at a specific time of year. Or else the person will feel left out and unloved.
