Some people might automatically say San Francisco, but I don’t think that is necessarily true. For example, I’ve been to both San Francisco and Minneapolis, and Minneapolis is super gay.

My girl friend has a hard time listening and understanding things I tell her. When I try to explain things to her she miss interprets what I say or simply doesn't understand me. I talk to her about important things such seeing her doctor for preventing possible cancer being developed. Or things she can do to better her future. I haven't been successful because she doesn't understand my "language." She's also sensative; takes things personally easily. How can I word things so she can understand me? Also how can I tell her things without her thinking I'm being mean when I'm really not?

i have a feeling this is going to get abused pretty quickly with porn, popups, advertisements, spam, and just general stupidity.

what do you guys think? i have a feeling it won't last like this for more than a month, then it'll either start to be regulated heavily, or yahoo will drop it because it won't be worth the time and money.

i have a feeling the latter is more likely.

As i seem to recall there are just as many dumba*sses and jerks in America as there is in countries like the UK, Russia, and Canada! Just because America has a dumb president doesn't mean we're all stupid! In fact, when we actually put effort into it, America's youth are pretty damn smart! And why do people in the UK insist we don't know the difference between England, Great Britain, and Scotland?? Some people are so RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ask because some of my family has had objections to my new job even though I'm fine with it. I needed the work and the pay is better than average and the job is easy... Any advice or suggestions on how to ease my family's fears (I'm not becoming the devil or anything)? Ideas on the morality of working in such establishments? Thanks...

Name something you have always wanted to do but would never tell your family or friends. It can be out of reach, that's OK. Mine is.
OK, mine is climbing Mt. Everest, really.
I know I'm too out of shape to do it, but that would be amazing.

The hip hop movement that started in New York was really started in Jamaica by a jamaican DJ Kool Herc. Hip hop was created out of jamaican music raggamuffin and dub. And another thing is this reggaeton stuff. The music infleuences in reggaeton are mostly jamaican influences. I know there are latin infleuences in reggaeton like plena, bomba and stuff but some of those music are derieved from african music and jamaican music music is derived from african music. So really Africa needs to get the credict for hip hop here. But i say Jamaica cuz thats what most people know more about.

People around the world love black culture so much. In asia people are tanning themselves to look black, they talk like black people talk, love our music. Such as hip hop, r and b, funk, jazz, reggae, dancehall, soul. You even got artists over there that do our music. In the latin community you got reggaeton which is a spin off reggae. The dembow, the hip hop/rap, and other black african infleuences. Rock and roll sprung off r and b. You even got non black people saying the n word. They wear cornrows like us. They wear durags even though it is not really a black thing but most people that wear them are black. Soul food is popular. People everywhere are getting into the snap music game. Black culture in my opinion is the most exicting our there right now.

Ok, I respect my grandmother very much and she is a good person but she says that I shouldn't have children with the world like it is. I don't think its fair....I mean, whats wrong with me wanting children? What do you think and what should I say to her to be a convincing argument?

Oh, and I'm going to have children of course. Just thought I would ask what you think.

Don’t you love the diversity in life, here in the internet, among us? The differences between groups of people down to each individual? I just learned to appreciate that when I answered this question “What is the saddest (as in geekiest) question you have ever read and answered?”

And this was my answer:

“Geekiest would be ‘how many kg of potassium should be added to blah blah water to freeze?’... I was like ‘just put it inside your freezer…’:p But the saddest would be ‘will I ever see my beloved again?’ I felt his longing for his loved one, coz I've been there, and so it almost made me cry.

I just realized how Y!Answers makes me feel alive by evoking different emotions in me through the questions of its memebers. And just a while ago, I encountered a question ‘I like being creative blah blah blah, how about you how do you express yourself..?’. It reminded me of my artistic side, taking a break from answering geeky questions. And there's even a poem I read which was really beautiful and which I could relate to. It makes me a complete person to deal with the different aspects of life. I love being in Y!Answers :)”

Don’t you?
