I had a bad injury my junior year and lost a lot of my memories before that. I remember my senior year and are still good friends with those people. I just don't want to be rude to anyone because I don't rember their names or that they even went to the same school as me. I know they all know about my injury but I just don't want to be rude.

Dr. Joseph Mastropaolo, Ph.D., professor emeritus, California State University, Long Beach, wrote to Orange County Register as follows:

The debate referred to in the article, “Kansas will revive evolution debate” [News, April27], is not between evolution and creationism.

The debate is between the anti-science of evolution and the science of devolution.

Evolution is anti-science because it is the exact opposite of reality. The entire universe is devolving, always has been and always will be. No animate or inanimate object can build itself or change itself to any other object, as the evolutionists teach. Engineering is required.

Living things die; that is devolution. No chemicals spring to life. Every ape-man is a fraud or forgery.

After someone writes his/her living will, and signs it in the presence of witnesses, must the courts always uphold this person's wishes, or is there always someone else who has the final say even if it goes against the writer's wishes?

I get 17.3 mpg with the air conditioner on (in town and highway) versus 18 with it off (in town and on while on the highway). Is the extra 14.7 miles per tank of gas worth not running the air conditioner? 58.8 extra miles per month? 705.6 extra miles per year?

Once, in the not too distant past, a man was faithful. When a man said, "I love you", it was from the heart. When a man promised, "Till death do us part", no trial or tirbulation could seperate him from his wife. A woman could confide in a man's faithfulness.

In times past, a man embraced his faternal love. A man's heart was with his children. It was the thought of returning home to his wife and children that strengthened a man through a day of work. The future of a man's children were his greatest priority. A man's children were his pride and boasting.

A man was chilvalrous. A man stood, opened the door, defended, and protected a woman, no matter her appearance. All women were precious in a man's eyes. All women were worthy of his love and respect.

A man was the embodiment of fatherhood, brotherhood, friendship, provision, protection, love, and respect. Where has the glory of men gone?

It's said that men can do what women can do, vise versa. The only question is...does anyone believe in it and do they try it out and do it?

I've had it for almost ten years. I'm not a trendy person, and I don't think they're very popular at the present time. So maybe I should just leave it alone so I don't appear trendy by shaving it. however I do keep my head shaved and don't want to look like a cueball. What do you think?
