Yes because even though we look different on the outside doesn't mean that we are not all human beings, everybody no matter what sex they are deserves to have the same rights, freedoms, and justices.

It's great in theory, but in the real world there *are* things men can do that women can't, and things women can do that men can't. Try getting a man to carry/give birth to a child...try getting a woman to pee standing up :)
There should, of course, be equal OPPORTUNITY in any profession, education, public service, etc. Then let the best person get the job, class opening, office, whatever. And equal pay for the same work. That not only applies to men and women, but to races, sexual orientations, etc.
Back to the real world for a sec, though -- men have been doing some things (many jobs, for example) a lot longer than women because of past discrimination, and many women haven't quite caught up yet. Sometimes women aren't as good at negotiating salaries, for example (but there are women that ARE good at it, and men that are bad at it also!)...as women are raised from childhood with the promise they can do anything they want to, they'll get better at those kind of things. It'll all even out, but it may take a while!

Yes. I know people say that men can't do what women do and vise versa, but they can. Think about it, there's a lot of men and women out there that are single parents and they do everything that the opposite sex does. People who don't see how good this is, probably can't see that if all the women were wiped out, the men have to do every and vise versa.

I believe in it. I support it. And I live it everyday. I hold all to my standards, not just women or men. All. Now, I was raised by my dad, and I am a woman. So I have had some people say I am capable of X, but not Y. That I can do more/less than men. But I was raised by a man. I was raised to think like a rational Human. I was raised to neither use my womanhood for benefit, nor let it be used for oppression. I can do X, Y, and Z. I can do more/less than certain people because of my own style/body type/mental ability. I am no better/worse than any man/woman. I am just different.

I agree 100% with Kate. Its not about physical ability but about the Morale of people. Women and Men should be valued the same, payed the same, given equal treatment in all matters. It only depends INDIVIDUALLY whether the person WANTS this treatment and goes for it or not. If she does, great for her and she deserves it.
Do I think she should be on a regular NFL team, well, not if she's not 300 lbs and ready for action. . . because I wouldn't want her abused by her teammates on the "good old boy system" which if I was owner I wouldn't tolderate. The whole team would bench till attitudes changed, but that would be a different world altogether, because they won't spend that kind of money in this one (sadly).

Yes. I think that either gender can do what each other does for the most part. Men typically will have more upper body strength than females, but there is strength in some teamwork, so they can do it. A man can give a female his sperm, but he cannot grow a human life inside of his body and feed it off of his own nutrients. A woman can. As far as EMPLOYMENT and how much money is earned - yes it should be EQUAL.

There are major differences between the 2 sexes. Many books have been written. Check out Phil McGraw or John Gray as authors. Men generally are great with gross motor activity and women are great with fine motor activity.
What you have been told and the conclusions you are drawing need revising, so read up on the subject.
There are different type of equalities
Women are great raising kids because they are multitaskers, men are not multitaskers generally speaking.

Yes .. I do support equality all the way.
Men can do what women can do and vice versa.
Although we can all do the same things.. Women can do certain things better so therefore there will always be a gap.
But in the corporate world there is no need for a gap.

There is a saying that a women needs to do twice as much as man, fortunately that is not too difficult.
When you have found a man that can give birth, we can have equality between the sexes.
Having said that, equal pay for equal work (still working on that). Your questions seems to forget yen/yang.

Dream on, little girl. Equality between the sexes is wishful thinking at best. The best women on earth are of waist height, with no teeth and a flat head for a man to rest his beer on.

Men can not do everything women can do and women can not do everything men can do. That's a simple fact. That's why both sexes are here to compliment each other and help each other out in this world.
