I've been going out with this girl for a month no we are not boyfriend and girlfriend, but shes my "Valentine", i'm questioning what to get her, i'm not cheap but when I think of jewelry I'm thinkin its more special then what we are, better if we were in a relationship, so i was thinkin like Flowers, stuffed dog, chips ahoy package(rather then chocolates cause she loves chips ahoy).. and like a $40 macys gift card, (excuse me I live in NYC so yeah, and I'd rather her get something she likes no?..some advice, some opinions, any ideas!~??!?

I am not going to get to see my husband for our first Valentine's Day as a married couple.

He is not expecting to receive anything but I would like to surprise him with a beer basket. I was thinking maybe a beer, chocolate combo but I can't seem to find a good one. Many of the site don't tell you what kind of beer they are sending.

I am currently working in Eugene, OR and would like to send him some of the local micro brews, but I am not sure that I will have the time to put a basket together on my own.

Its your day and as your man, I'm willing to do anything you want for your speacial day, would you like me to rub your feet and run you a bubble bath with rose peddals on top, or would you like to fly to Vegas for the NBA All star festivities, would you like me to take you to your favorite eating establishment or I can even cook you up a nice meal, maybe you would like to snuggle up by a cozy fireplace and sip on some merlot, its up to you whatwould you like for your Valentines!!! Money is not an object so don't be shy.

My question is do I still need to buy her flowers if I already bought her a iPod and spent the time and energy to fill it up with her favorite music. It's not a cheap Nano either, it's the 30GB Video one. I don't really think spending $50+ (they jack up the prices for V-Day) is worth it.

I have no clue what to get my man for Valentine's day. Will he like flowers and chocolate or should I just get him a DVD or something manly ??
There are more then just roses to give on V-Day.

My husband and I do. We just don't understand why you should love your spouse, boy/girlfriend on one day what about the rest of the year? What about giving gifts to each other on just any day why just one certain day? I don't get why Valentine's day is that big of a deal when you should be loving each other all year.I think Hallmark is trying to get money out of people. What's your views on this?

What is the best anti-valentine's day song that you can think of?

Okay, hypothetically, you and your hubby are a little tight right now. You need something inexpensive but romantic.

Your hubby learns and sings a slower version of "500 Miles" by the Proclaimers. He can't play guitar, but it's a simple song and he can find the chords online.

Would love your opinion. Thanks!

Oh, here are the lyrics. http://www.seeklyrics.com/lyrics/Proclaimers/500-Miles.html

You know them better than I do. Some would like sexy surprises, some would like dinner, flowers, candy, some would like a nice night out. You know them. Use your imagination!!!!!!

So I get a phone call from a friend that wants to help out some of the people from our chruch on Valentines by watching their children while they go out. She asked me then said im asking the single people, the ones that dont have anything going on that day....Granted she asked if i had any plans which as of yet I dont. It doesnt make me feel bad just kind of wondering how others would react i guess.
