I am not going to get to see my husband for our first Valentine's Day as a married couple.

He is not expecting to receive anything but I would like to surprise him with a beer basket. I was thinking maybe a beer, chocolate combo but I can't seem to find a good one. Many of the site don't tell you what kind of beer they are sending.

I am currently working in Eugene, OR and would like to send him some of the local micro brews, but I am not sure that I will have the time to put a basket together on my own.

Go to www.beeradvocate.com and under "Travel" on the left hand navigation area, choose "Dir" then narrow your search to where you're husband will be staying. You'll be able to find top rated microbreweries in the area. Now getting them to send a basket to your husband is another thing. You'll also find top rated liquor stores with a good selection of beers and you may be able to contact them with your request.

Either way, that's an awesome Valentines gift! Your husband is one lucky man!

Not exactly what your looking for but beer of the month club is pretty cool. www.beermonthclub.com. They send out a variety of micro-brews from around the US every month. I had it for awhile, they sent some pretty tasty beers out.

i imagine that it may propose extra in case you made one your self and %. out each little thing that are romantic that you wish. the hampers on-line get to be especially extreme priced and then the S&H expenditures come into play and also you're paying extra for the make and the approach than the stuff. you are able to flow to the dollar shop and get a cheap yet efficient basket and fill it with cologne and different products that you imagine that he may like, and perchance even issues that you'll be able to do collectively: rub down oil and candles, action picture tickets, etc.. Be ingenious it is going far!

Not a microbrewery, but you can find these items at www.guinness.com. Sorry for the flagrant bias.
