I don't want to do anything too cutesy, and I'm just not sure how to handle a romantic gift this early in a relationship. He likes typical guy things... sports, etc. He's taking me out to dinner, so I can't do that. I just would like something simple but all I can come up with is candy...

My boyfriend and i are wanting to have a nice valentines (nothing crazy). We want to stay in a free kind of range though because of some financial issues we've had recently. Just something sweet mostly just something fun we can do together.
We can't really do a romantic dinner at home because we have a roommate who will be here.
Also we're trying to take the weather into consideration because of a medical condition he can't take the cold/chill very well.

Any ideas? just something simple and fun

We live in texas between dallas and fort worth, please nothing sexual we can think of those on our own thanks

I'm currently in an odd situation I guess you could say. Me and this guy are "thinking" about dating but not quite dating yet. I want to be romantic cause I think he has something planned but I don't wanna show up empty handed or anything. If you guys could offer some advice...that'd be awesome! Thanks...

Taking a wonderful bit of advice from someone on here for V-day:

Roses, dinner, lingerie, movies, hotel room away from the house and everything else and a couple of things on top of that -for- him.

The problem being,I think of it and I get butterflies. Some of it's excitement, some of it's 'oh my god, what happens if I screw it all up?!' stuff. ...Any advice?

I am in a recent relationship (less than two months) and we haven't really been seeing much of each other recently and he wants to anarchy Valentines Day. I did mention that I hated the holiday, but I didn't mean to, it's just that we haven't spent much time together and well I put the wall back up, and he is at a distance now, so I don't get hurt or be disapointed anymore, that way he surprises me instead, yeah right. Anyway, the reason I want to know is so that maybe someone else can change my mind and help me not hate the holiday. I used to love the day, until I was dumped on the day b4, the day of, the day after, and I have never recieved anything special 4 V-Day. I long for the day where I am surprised by the person I am with and will enjoy Valentines Day once more. I don't think it is too much to ask for, in the future, for roses, a present, and a small box of candy. If it is I'm sorry for wanting that once in a while... So please tell me what you do for V-Day....

If you were gonna take a girl out on valentine's day and she also lives far from you, would you send her roses by delivery and just give her chocolates in person or hand her roses and chocolates in person. I might be busy that day so I donno.

Me and my boyfriend have been dating for 2 1/2 months. He is hinting that he is doing something really special for me. I dont have alot of money, just about 10 dollars. He loves blueberry muffins, so my idea is to make him a heart-shaped blueberry muffin and Make/Buy a nice n sweet card.

Is that a good idea? He would understand my money situation, but is there anything else I could add to my plans to make it better?

I usually go to my boyfriends house for dinner on Wednesdays, I always cook and my 4 year old daughter (from a previous relationship) comes along. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what we can do for Valentines day dinner so it is still romantic but child friendly?
