Valentine's Day

we have a 13-month old son together; he's 24 and im almost 21, and we've had some rough times through the 3 years we've been together (off and on) so im not sureon what to do. is a card enough with a heartfelt message inside or should i get him something else? i think he will expect something other than a card but i dont know what. im kinda tight on cash right now so anything is a huge help from ya'll. and i suck at homemade craftsy-type things so PLEASE HELP ME!! thanks !

i really like this guy but he's a grade ahead of me in school so the only time i see him is on spelling bee practice .the spelling bee is on monday @1:00.and i want to give him a valentine but not in front of everybody.i dont think he likes me like that. this is the second year ive known him.i really like him.

Well, February 19th is our 1 year 6 month anniversary. He isn't into candy. He loves cars. I got him a pack of beer last year. Hah. For our one year anniversary I put a binder together with hearts and such saying 111 reasons why I love him so I can't do something like that. We have a few pictures of us on the computer but not many. I'm looking for something more cheap, maybe something I can make or something that would be a jaw dropper =]

I'd rather spend my time with my sweetheart when things aren't busy, overpriced and hectic. Why not on the 11th when you can reserve a table at a decent restaurant and get better service?

I believe there may be some hidden hurt behind it. I love the idea of a day of LOVE we need more of it. Ok, so Hallmark created it...why not just express your love from your heart instead of buying all the commercial items. Create something or enjoy a night out on the town etc. Please no hate just wondering were all this is coming from. This year I am hearing more negativity about Valentine's Day...it makes me sad. Alright I am making my g/f a card that is shaped like a heart. The heart is going to be 4 different layers. Like it is going to start out smaller and then get bigger so it sorta over laps if you get what I am trying to explain. Anyway the very top heart is pink with a poem in red letters. What colors should I do the other hearts. Should I go Red,Pink,White, and then the top pink one with the poem or what? Oh on the top right hand corner and bottom left hand corner I am going to make a slit and slide a rose down through it so it sorta looks like an arrow is going through. I am then going to by a teddy bear and have it holding the card with the rose in it.What do you think? Oh...I am also flying home to see her for valentines day cause I am away at college and she is still in High School. I think I am going to go to the school and put it in her locker or if i can i am going to go and put it in her room on her bed so she can find it when she gets home
